Reviewing Alpine Swiss Tiana Women’s Platform Mini Boots | We live in the Rocky Mountain West. Lots of snow, and even when there isn’t any snow, it’s cold in the winter. Dogs still need walks several times a day though. When there aren’t several inches of snow on the ground, I don’t like spending 10 minutes putting on and strapping up my 20 lb Sorel snow boots, but I still want my feet to remain warm and dry. These looked like they would be great for those times. They are only ankle height, they are warm and the insoles are very comfortable. They were a little tight to get on, but with a shoe horn, they were no problem. What was a problem though, is the length of the shoe. I ordered size 9 and wear a size 9 in U.S. Women’s. My feet are both 9-7/8” (the left is actually slightly shorter than that), which is the exact measurement for a U.S. Women’s 9. My big toe hits the edge of these boots. They hit them enough that they are not comfortable to wear, which is a real bummer, because other than that, they feel perfect. They are a platform heel, so they are cute and they are easy to slip off. I just wish the sizing was correct or they had a size chart in inches on the listing page, which they did not have at the time of this review. I will rate 4 stars because they are warm and comfortable. Hopefully, they will put a size guide on the listing page to help future buyers. Read more

The boot in my picture has been worn many times to a messy art studio and during walks through the dusty desert. I got these for my daughter, and it took me a while to get a photo because she wears them a lot. She usually gets shoes about a size bigger than she actually needs, so the 8 fits her well, even though the sizing might run a bit small. The inside fur and padding also gets smushed down a bit with wear, so you'll have more wiggle room once you wear them for a bit. She find them very comfortable to wear, very well padded, although a bit warm -- especially in the fall in Arizona. These would be excellent for a colder climate or once the weather finally gets cold here. Her toes will stay toasty. The platform takes a little bit of getting used to because it's heavy and less flexible than a standard sole, but that is the very small price you pay to get a few extra inches of height. I love the way these look. The thick sole and the very short shaft, like a little bootie. The black suede is soft and durable. It shows no scuffs or damage, even from rain, although it does attract dust and debris. It's fairly easy to brush off if it's a concern. The sole is well treaded and a grippy material. My daughter loves these boots and they will likely get even more wear as the weather cools. I actually wish I'd gotten them in my size, even if I don't really need them. Read more

Alpine Swiss Tiana Womens Platform Mini Boots RUNS SMALL| Faux Fur Lined Short Ankle Boots | Slip On Warm Winter Booties | Lightweight Anti-Slip Sole. These are cute, warm, thick-soled platform boots, but they were so ridiculously small they were unusable. I will note: the description does state "RUNS SMALL". I ordered size eight (her regular size) for my petite daughter, she could not even get her foot into it. She otherwise liked the boots. So, I ordered a size nine for her, and IT was also too small. So, manufacturer, get your sizing right. If you are considering buying these, I would suggest going two sizes larger. Read more

These are way too small. The sizing is completely off. They have a size chart listed on their product page, which is completely incorrect given that the boot that was ordered did not fit the size foot it was intended for. The boots are extremely pinchy and narrow at the front. You definitely need to size up a lot in order to get these boots to fit. Read more

Fit & Comfort: I ordered a size 9. I usually wear between an 8.5-9. These shoes were too small. I slipped them on barefoot because I wanted to see how the soft lining felt. It was so soft, BUT without socks my feet were crammed into them. I would even question ordering up just one size (to a 10 for me) because I'd worry they would also probably fit tight. Which is to bad because these boots are cute. Materials & Build: The material all feels nice, and the seemed nice and sturdy. The insides were soft and would definitely keep your feet warm in cold weather. They definitely don't feel like they are waterproof. I didn't get to try them out for that since they were too small. But, judging by the material, I don't think I'd trust them in wet conditions. Pros: • Soft • Well Made Cons: • Way too small Read more

These are super cute and can be worn with dresses or pants. They are cute enough to be worn on date night or to go to the supermarket. I love the 2 inch platform because I am short. You will definitely want to size up. I wear an 8 1/2 boot and sized up to a 9 and that worked for me. I do have wide feet and can wear these comfortably with regular socks on. I also tried these boots with winter socks and they were a little snug. The interior is plush and keeps my feet warm. These boots are light and are made well with good quality materials. If you wear them in the rain or snow, it would be a good idea to waterproof them. I think these boots are priced right and they are working well for me. Read more

These are very soft inside and feel warm right away, more like slippers with a real sole. They do run small just like the listing says—my usual 8 feels more like a 7.5. The platform gives a tiny bit of height without feeling unstable. I’d size up for thick socks or wider feet. Read more
