This worked great to neutralize a cat urine for. Our elderly kitty had some accidents in her last days with us. We have cleaned the carpet but a few weeks later I swear I smelled that odor again. We have cleaned it again. But I still think I smell it in one area. We cleaned again , we were having guests over and I decided to use the odor eliminator. The lavender scent was quite pleasant. I didn’t smell any bad odors. I would buy this again. Read more

Used in a small 2 door car with a hatchback door. Its the WORK CAR It smells like oil and shoes and old closet and the occasional stale old food that gets left behind from a forgotten lunch bag. Even tho we always cleaned the car and used many car vent deodorizer and even a carbon air filter spray, and attaching deoderant to the carbon air filters and even spraying the fabric in the cars and wiping the surfaces the car stank. ***we cleaned the car as usual, but removed all the old used up air freshener and added this item in the back seat and threw 1 small ball of baking soda in one of the cup holders in the front the arm and hammer shoe deoderant orange balls) ***The next day, the car smelled CLEAN!!!!!!!! not like fragrance. But clean, like nothing!!! No oil no shoe, no food smell!!! I was sooooo happy!!!! ***one way we prepared the gel container was to only puncture holes in the seal that made the container *closed/seal ** we simply made 5 holes and screwed the plastic lid back on, as the screw lid already has pre made holes **we were hoping this would make the gel last longer, and not dry up or release too much at the same time. **so far so good. I will be buying this gel forever as it removed odor, and i guess the lil orange baking soda ball from arm and hammer gave the car a lil fragrance. **but as long as that car doesnt smell like oil food or shoes, I think it amazing Read more

This is super easy to use just twist off the lid, pull out the seal, and twist it back on. No plugs, no sprays, no mess. It does a great job absorbing odors without releasing any fragrance into the air, which I really appreciate. I knocked off one star only because it works best in smaller spaces, but overall it’s an effective, low effort, no scent solution I’d definitely buy again. Read more

Not sure how good this is for strong problems. We had what we assume to be a dead rodent in an unreachable place in attic or wall and the closet under attic had a foul smell (handyman emptied closet & inspected attic, couldnt find it) and this product did not really have an affect on the odor. So then I put a bowl of unused coffee grounds in the closet, along with about a cup of baking soda based arm n hammer cat litter box deodorizer, and the smell was all gone in 24 hours. Since I cannot return it I will just leave it in there, but the coffee is what absorbed & got rid of the smell. This product had no scent as far as I could tell. Might be ok for other issues, but not something like this. Read more

I do not use scented fabric and air sprays, no plug ins, etc. I have terrible scent-triggered migraines so those products are not an option for me. We had recently hosted company and hung their coats in our coat closet. Some were smokers and others wore strong perfumes. I tried everything to get the smell out- to the point of putting rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and spraying it. Nothing worked. For the price, I decided to take a chance on these and I’m so glad I did. I put one in our closet and shut the door and in around 2 days, the lingering scents were gone. We also use that closet for our shoes and it’s continued to keep it smelling fresh. They last a while and I’ve started using these in every room of my house to keep it smelling fresh. Great product for the money. Read more

This was super easy to use, just popped it into the pantry where our trash can is unfortunately but it helps keep the trash smell down and it last a good while! It has a nice fresh smell and just adds a nice boost of freshness. I have a second one in our dogs room and it helps get rid of that stinky dog smell lol!! Read more

I was skeptical to try but I’m a believer now! This little tub eliminates any odor! I have one in my primary bathroom and one in the garage. It works continuously. It has a soft scent without being flowery or overpowering. And they are half the price of the name brand ones on Facebook! I will definitely purchase again. Read more

Two stars because it worked great for about 10 days, then the aroma and odor elimination just fizzled out. The product has not visibly dissolved or shrunk very much in volume, but it just stopped working. One of our bedrooms w/ ensuite bathroom at the far back of the house always seems to smell a little musty - - - not bad bathroom smells, but just not very fresh. I think it's because the toilet area is at the far back of the ensuite configuration and gets the least amount of air circulation. The air conditioning needs to wrap around the partial dividing wall and never seems to reach that far corner. I'd been using Febreze (non plug-in) and that was working great, but I ran out and thought I'd try this instead. I was very happy with this for the first week, then started to notice the lack of that nice lavender scent. A few days later I walked back there and noticed that same old musty smell again. I checked this to see if it all evaporated that quickly but the volume of gel is not even an inch lower . . . it just isn't working anymore. If I give the jar a shake and jiggle the solid gel material around, a little bit of fragrance will waft out, but without shaking it I don't even get the slightest trace of lavender even when I hold it right up to my nose. I've moved the jar from the ensuite bathroom to my nightstand and I still don't notice any fragrance at all. I've since purchased more of the Febreze (fresh linen) again and am back to using that with great results. Just a tip if you decide to try the Frebreze . . . to me, standing alone and out on a counter the Febreze aroma is quite strong. For the perfect, light scent I put it down in the trash can under the liner and it gives the room just enough of a subtle fresh aroma without overpowering. Read more
