American Floor Mats 5 16 8mm Thick Recycled ECO Rubber Rolls - 4 Wide x 13 Protective Exercise

Used this for flooring my new basement gym. The width of these rolls is on the money straight. I got 17 ft lengths since these would allow me to go from end-to-end of my gym room along one direction. The 17ft x 4ft rolls were pretty heavy though, anything longer than 15 feet is going to be hard to handle. The ends are not cut straight, they are cut as the roll comes off leaving them slightly angled. So be sure to square your starting edge. Finally, the weight is sufficient that once unrolled and left to rest they go to perfectly flat, I have not seen any reason to glue or tape any edges. I was worried when these arrived. I'd seen a video saying there was no odor with these mats and I opened the package and the smell was SO strong. But I left it outside for a few days and the smell dissipated. It's been sitting on my garage floor now for about a month and I don't smell a thing and even better is the feel, grip and appealing look. I am so happy with these. Very durable, high quality rubber floor. The color of the recycled rubber is really cool- a mix of all colors and is evenly distributed. Exactly what I wanted at a great price. Rolls were a way better option for me than tiles. Only suggestion - cut the ends of the rolls straight. I had to cut and straighten them myself. Really high quality floor! Read more

I ordered and installed 6 rolls of 4' x 17' rolls (each roll weighs approx 150lbs). I ordered the rolls approximately 1' longer than needed and cut one side to the exact length as needed. Some of my cuts could have been straighter, but the factory cuts were all square (I had seen complaints about this in the past and had ordered a couple smaller mats in the past that we cut poorly). It seems that as of 2022, the company has heard the feedback and at least for my order everything was great. I did not need to use double sided tape for my installation. Everything laid nice and flat. Additionally, there wasn't an issue with off-gassing. I wasn't concerned about this issue, but was surprised that there wasn't a smell at all. Read more

Came early and is exactly as described. More white speckles than other colors, looks great. Low odor, corners did not flip up as I read online (minimal flip since it comes rolled up). I did 17', the edges are not cut perfectly but its a minor issue that will be repaired very easily. Read more
