I have an old bug lamp and I needed bulbs for replacement. These got decent reviews and fit all the physical requirements. TWO were flickering right out of the box and useless. ONE had the end contactor loose and falling off. ONE seems to be possibly working. The OLD bulbs that I was replacing actually felt like fluorescent bulbs..the end contractors were sealed and tight. THESE have the equivalent of aluminum foil that almost falls off when you try to plug them in. The quality is as bad as humanly possible. There is ZERO reason to manufacture and sell junk like this...if you can't make an intact, usable and able to be installed bulb....dont make them. You can buy 8 foot fluorescent bulbs that are of good quality for the same price. There is no reason to stick customers with junk hoping that they don't return them when they arrive unusable.
