The interchangeable heads on trimmer makes it the perfect tool. Everything is wrapped in a single tool so its less expensive. I already have the Andis Masters, GTO-EXO trimmer, T-Outliner, and the Pro Foil shaver so the reliable brand is what made me purchase this tool. This t-blade cuts the lowest I have ever seen. It leaves my face and neck feeling soft and smooth. Then I can change to the nose trimmer head to remove any abnormally growing hairs in my nose. Its the quietest out of all my Andis products and its a great cordless solution as I still have not recharged the battery. Read more

Firstly, I love Andis! I mean using their products for more than 5 years now and they've never let me down. So naturally when I wanted to pick up a new trimmer for my mustache they were my go to. This looked like exactly what I needed. I have a 14-in beard and a mustache that I keep pretty tight. These clippers were small enough so that I would be able to maneuver my way around with ease. Unfortunately, these clippers are garbage. They don't have enough power to cut through my mustache hair. All they do is snag and pull. It's really unfortunate. This hair removal kit comes in a very nice semi-hard, foam padded storage case. The interchangeable cutting heads are dual blade face and body (the “razor”) trimmer, nose trimmer, mustache/beard trimmer and a foil shaver. Note that these cutting heads are smaller than most conventional shavers or trimmers. They range from 1 ¼ in (razor and foil shaver) to just under one in (mustache/beard trimmer). It also comes with 7 combs, a two-prong charging cable and a cleaning brush. It is light weight and waterproof. With a simple twist, these cutting heads could be attached/detached. My fiancé happily tried out this kit. Even after reading the instructions carefully, he still struggled to master the techniques in using this motorized razor. In particular, because the motorized razor is double-edged, he did not feel safe to lay the razor completely flat again his skin. Neither the razor nor the micro foil shaver gave him satisfactory results when used in dry conditions. So I suggested that he tried to shave with shaving cream. The shave with the razor improved a bit but the micro foil shaver was too small and underpowered to be effective. These tools get clogged up by the shaving cream very easily. Both produced more shaving burns than traditional 5-blade razors or other full-sized orbital or foil shavers he had tried. After 2-3 attempts, my fiancé felt pretty negative about its shaving functionality. He was more positive about the nose and mustache/beard trimmer. Other than running water under the faucet, thorough cleaning of these cutting heads is not possible except the foil shaver. I feel that this grooming kit, due to its unique design, requires a bit of learning curve and pairing with the correct shaving toiletry. This kit, with cutting heads around 1 in wide, may be good for grooming mustache, beard, sideburn or groin. However, its shaving performance does not meet our expectations. Read more

I can’t complain too much about this, but I do wish I could get cleaner lines when grooming my beard and lining my hair with it. It shaved ok, but it could be closer. It does do a great job of trimming my beard to my desired length with the included guards. The battery life is great and I do use it in the shower frequently. This is probably good for the average guy, but if you are looking for the perfect fresh from the barber look you might find better options. Read more
