If you're in the market for a good gaming monitor this is probably best in class. What I mean by that is you probably won't find a much better monitor without spending a few hundred more at least. I've had a few different 1080p 24" monitors and none of them have even come close to how good this monitor is. Pretty sure you have to up resolution to get anything better. I haven't had any of the ghosting problems. The colors are beautiful (I did tweak the color settings to my personal liking which can be a somewhat frustrating process but the result is a richness and sharpness I haven't experienced with other monitors. If you're looking for a high quality monitor for 1080p gaming at a great price this is the one. Also the build quality is rock solid. The height and tilt adjustments are smooth. The base is heavy and extremely stable. Overall I couldn't be happier. The only budget monitor I would recommend over this one (and only if you're looking for 1440p) is this same brand's 27" 1440p monitor. But honestly 27" is a little big for gaming in my opinion. I actually got this for 125 USD so it was an instant snag. I really love this monitor and every worked fine. The ghosting was awful and most people say to use the overdrive setting, but it didn't help. instead, I used the shadow control and changed it to 60-70. Yes, it would look bad, but by changing some of the color settings it looked completely fine and now I don't have ghosting. the build quality seems amazing. There really isn't anything bad about this monitor that can't be fixed in settings. One thing though is 24 inches is pretty big and the stand is very long, so make sure you have a big desk, or mount it. I have a small desk but was still able to fit 2 monitors and a mic stand by turning the stand at an almost 90 degree angle, then turning the monitor forward. The only bad thing about this monitor is since its 1080p, games don't look as crisp as a smaller monitor. Not a big deal and it still looks great, but it can get grainy. oh also 165 hz is the best thing ever. Basically, for even the full 180 dollar price, this is def worth the money (but maybe wait for it to drop back down to 125) Read more
This monitor was $150 when I bought it. That is just about the cheapest you can get for even 144hz, let alone 165. I had only used 60hz displayed up until the day this arrived. The difference, as has been stated so many times before, is absolutely night and day. If you have never experienced the glory that is 144hz+, and are on a budget, this monitor is the monitor for you. Everything except one thing about this monitor is better than the ones I used before. Color accuracy, brightness, smoothness (obviously), design (both aesthetics and build quality), its bezel size, AND a curved panel. There is only one issue I have with this monitor. From my very amateur testing, it seems this monitor suffers slightly in terms of corona artifacts, or inverse ghosting. But that in no way, at least to me, makes this monitor a bad purchase. Sure, I could have gotten a monitor without that issue. But to me, it's just not worth another 50 dollars I would have to pay over this one. On a scale of 1-10, I give this monitor a 9.5, because to some people corona artifacts are a bigger deal than to me. Read more
This monitor was easy to set up, came in good packaging and is working well. The monitor states 165hz, and that is 100% true. The reason why I am talking about the amount of hz the monitor can reach is because once you setup, your computer may only give you 144hz as the highest, but it is actually 165hz. Your windows just made a small mistake with the amount of hz. But if it says 165hz as the highest then great! Overall, this is a very nice and clean monitor. Would definitely buy it if your new to gaming or just an experienced gamer in general. Read more
The AOC C24G1A gaming monitor has exceeded my expectations. The 24" curved VA panel with 1500R curvature really draws you in, making games and movies feel immersive. The Full HD resolution is sharp, and the 1ms MPRT response time keeps fast-paced action smooth with minimal ghosting. Colors are vibrant, and the frameless design looks sleek on my desk. Setup was simple, and the adjustable stand adds a lot of flexibility. Great value for a gaming monitor at this price! Read more
For 144 dollars (and tax) you can NOT BEAT THIS!!! It’s a 165monitor (if you use d-port) the stand is high quality allowing you to adjust tilt and turn making it suit how you like your computer to be set. The big thing for me is it came with all cords which is nice and not many monitors do. It came with the d-port cable a hdmi and the power cable. No issue setting up and it over all in quality is amazing. I would definitely not waste money buying a 500 dollar monitor because this will most likely put due it tbh. The only down side is the screen is a tad bit dark but you get use to that pretty fast the colors are rich and if your in to the true blacks this screen has that as well. Over all save your money and just pick this bad boy up. Curved, 165-144hz, 24in what more could you ask for!!!! Read more
