Arctix Womens Insulated Snow Pants

I am so happy I bought these snow pants for my ski trip to Keystone! I was a little nervous about staying warm since Colorado can get so cold, but these were absolutely perfect. The insulation is really impressive for how lightweight they feel, and I never felt bulky or restricted while I was out on the mountain. I spent all day skiing and my legs stayed nice and toasty the whole time. The fit of the Arctix Women's Insulated Snow Pants is actually really great because of the adjustable waist. I usually have a hard time finding pants that stay up without being too tight, but I could adjust these perfectly over my base layers. I also love the boot gaiters because they actually stayed in place and kept all the snow out of my boots even when I accidentally ended up in some deeper powder. For the price, you really can’t beat the quality of these. They have these reinforced guards at the bottom that kept them from getting shredded by my ski edges, which is a huge plus. These snow pants were a lifesaver for our winter trip. They are very warm, comfortable, and truly insulated — I spent a lot of time outside in the snow with kids, and never felt cold. The fabric blocks wind well and doesn’t get wet easily, even during snowfall. I also really like the fit — they’re comfortable to move in, not bulky, and easy to layer underneath. The waistband sits nicely and doesn’t dig in, which is a big plus when you’re wearing them for hours. Great quality for the price. 5'6"-150Lbs bought a sz L. I carry my weight in my stomach (I'm not young lol 68yo. ( I think my waist is like 31".) The pants fit well, even i have to use the velcro on side to tighten. I did include a pic of me in reg yoga type pants so you can see I'm full in the belly area, regular size booty. They are warm but don't know much about waterproof yet, tubing in 2days. They seem very well made, the closure is a button not the clasp that I saw on reviews. Button is secure. I would def buy again if spending more time in actual snow. I bought 3 pairs of these pants in different sizes and lengths and none of them fit right. I got the 4x with the 31L and the the waist was was too big and the length was way too long. Normally I am a 22W in pants and 31 is a good length. The 3x 29L were too tight in the waist. I could wear them but I wouldn't be able to sit down or bend over to put my shoes on, however, the length was much better if a bit too long. Then I ordered a 4x in the 27L as the 29 was good but still a little long. The waist on these was even tighter than the waist on the 3x. I couldn't even zip them up. Also a side note, the width of the thighs is HUGE in all of these waist sizes. My thighs are not thin and I could almost get both legs in one pant leg on all these pants. I kept the 4x 31L, as I had a ski trip coming up and I could make due with a belt. Unfortunately we didn't do any skiing and I didn't even take the pants out of my suitcase so I don't know how warm they would have been. The quality on the ones I bought seems pretty good. They seem like they will keep you warm in the snow. I like that the pockets have zippers so nothing falls out. This would have been my first time skiing, next time I'll start buying pants earlier to find ones that will actually fit. For now I have a pair that I hope to NEVER fit in (because they are way too big and I missed the return window). Read more

First - these snow pants are a great value! This was the best deal that I could find on a pair of non-black snow pants and I'm very happy with the quality. I wore them for a full day of snowboarding and they kept me warm, dry, and visible on the mountain! The only downside was that this was a replacement item because the first pair I bought, based on the company's size chart, was too small. Luckily, the shipping was relatively quick, but I had to reorder for the full cost and I didn't receive a refund for the first pair, only Amazon credit. This wasn't a huge deal for me since I use Amazon frequently, but I can see how that could be a drawback for someone who wanted the funds returned to their card. Read more
