One of the best purchases I've made this year (and I shop Amazon A LOT). This easily lights candle wicks, incense sticks (aka anything thin), and I love how eco-friendly it is to not have to constantly replace the old school lighters that run on fluid. One charge lasts a long time too! When I got it, it was on 4, now it's on 3, and I've had this thing at least four months; haven't had to recharge yet. It won't work for larger sage sticks (or even Palo Santo) so I make sure to keep matches around; also, if you have to assist your stove by turning on the gas and letting a flame catch it, this won't work either. Edit: the company reached out to me and is sending me a new lighter! Great customer service! It really is a great lighter and I'm very happy with this outcome. I really love this lighter. It is so easy to use. Worked really great for a month and a half and now does not turn on anymore, tried troubleshooting steps to no avail. It shows that it is charging, but once unplugged from the charger it will not spark. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely loved this lighter, it was used for 3 wick candles. Sadly, I noticed the battery life was short. I made sure it had a full charge every time I removed it from the charger, and it would wear down after 2 days. I also noticed some wear and tear on the tip of the lighter (despite not being used for longer than 10 seconds), and thought nothing of it. With continued use, I found that the tip would continue to be orange, and hot, for a few seconds after I had removed pressure from the button. It saddens me that this happened not even 2 months after the purchase. You may hear my bird in the background of the video. This is where I must state, she is in a different room when the candles are lit, and has never been near where the lighter is kept (in a locked & closed drawer with cord access, in my desk). So there is no possibility that this damage could've been caused by pets (if it had, it would've been severe, both to them & the lighter), nor do I have others that use this lighter. That being said, it was used maybe 30 times since I recieved it, nearly 2 months ago If you manage to get one without the plastic wearing down/melting, it is phenomenal. You don't ahvw to worry about burning your hand when you light deep candles/3 wick candles, and it lights incredibly fast, you could practically wave it over the candle & it would light with a strong flame. Ceiling fans, AC units, wind, etc doesn't prevent the effectiveness of this lighter, and it is incredibly sleek and small (considering others that are on the market) so long as you aren't looking to light a candle every few days, you should be good.
