I ordered this for a better post shoulder replacement but it was too small and tight for the arm, so I started a return until my wife broke her arm & elbow requiring surgery and this turned out to be a great replacement for the hospital sling she was placed in. It has a foam cushioning and options for where to place the straps so they won't rub on the neck. Read more

My humerus bone is broken at the shoulder and I was hoping for something to provide more stability than an ordinary sling. The picture and description made it seem like what I need. It arrived promptly and looked good and I was pleased with what I saw. But, I couldn't make it fit. The material is foam, but it is too stiff to make it conform to my body. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs and I think if I were a larger person it would have been ok. With the stabilizer wrapped around my body and the injured arm in the sling, it wouldn't sit close enough to my arm to do any good. if it had been less stiff perhaps I could have used it even though the sling covered the forearm from the elbow to the tips of my fingers. I think it may work OK on a larger person. Read more
