KD Shoulder Ice Pack Brace Review: This seems like a pretty good brace and ice pack holder. I wish I'd had it when I first started having shoulder problems. It was difficult, before, to keep the ice in the right place on my shoulder. That said, it would be nice if there were more pockets all over it to adjust the ice pack placement within the arm brace itself. It would also be really nice if it came with at least one extra ice pack. In addition, I think that the ice pack/s should either be bigger or that the brace should come with multiple ice packs to be placed all around inside it. Before I got this: I had a lot of shoulder pain and swelling early on, and really needed the ice in more places. I think there was a time when I was using like three or four small packs at a time. I got a different shoulder ice pack and brace and the ice pack was larger in that but it was not as robust and didn't survive for long. So I got this one. But as I said, for the extreme pain and swelling, I really need more packs to put with it. I like the way that this pack and brace are made, but these kinds of ice packs tend not to get quite as cold as the plastic ones. Between fat, swelling and extreme heat here most of the year, those are the ones I have tended to prefer. (I think it's definitely worth getting a few of the plastic kind if you mainly want them for cold.) This one seems pretty good but it's kind of hard to judge because it's freezing here right now. The story can't really be told until it's 115 degrees in the middle of summer and I'm having a shoulder problem. Most likely though, I'll want a pack in the armpit, one in the front, one in the back, and then this one for any serious flare up. I haven't had to use it yet, but I hope that its structure will help me hang on to those ones in the front and the back better. Along with an Ace bandage, probably. Comfort and mobility are good. I like that it's secure but also gives you a pretty decent amount of movement. It can migrate on you though, depending... It seems to fit a wide range of bodies. The construction is really excellent. There is quite a strong odor of rubber, though. It's definitely to the point of requiring it being covered up when wearing, for me. I'm going to try to get it to air out on the porch. I'll include some pictures. Read more

After hurting my shoulder last year, I've been wanting one of these so I could ice or heat my shoulder while I sit at my desk and work. So far, I've been able to do pretty much anything while wearing it - get the kids ready for school, laundry, office work, watch TV, etc. It takes very little time for the gel pack to heat up, and of course, cooling it down takes considerably more time. If you are able, I'd recommend maybe having an extra, dedicated cold gel pack on hand so you can easily go back and forth if needed. It's easy to take on and off and adjust. It comes with an extra, short Velcro piece that I assume is to be used as a size extender for the arm or possibly even the torso. I am 5'7", 170 lbs, with a 36 D chest and the wrap fits comfortably above or below my breast. It can take a little bit of fidgeting to get it to sit properly on the body and tends to slide to the front on me (this could be just a posture issue) but my injury tends to bother me on the front side of my shoulder by the bicep tendon so I prefer to rotate the wrap more to the front anyway. Overall, great product, if you have a shoulder injury, don't wait as long as I did to get one of these. It's really useful and helps to provide relief while allowing me to function on a normal day to day basis. Read more
Product arrived in a timely manner and was very well packed. This product is an ice pack shoulder brace that comes with a gel pack for cold or warm use. I have found this product to be very well constructed for the purpose intended and has provided me with some relief during those times where my pain was the worst. It comes with instructions on how to use it and is very easy to use and stays in place until I remove it. It is not uncomfortable and is able to provide cold therapy or warm therapy. After using it , the item folds up nicely and does not take up much room. I even took it on a trip with me since I was unable to secure a Dr. visit prior to my time spent away. I found myself using it several times daily. The material used to construct this item is quality and should last longer than I need it. Sizing was easy and should fit most normal adults sizes. The strap used to hold it in place adjusts easily. Overall it fit my shoulder easily and was not uncomfortable in any way. I am happy that I was able to secure this product. Read more
This shoulder ice pack brace does help relieve my shoulder pain, especially after a long day or workout. The gel pack provides solid cold therapy, and the material feels comfortable against the skin. It fits well once secured, but I did notice it can slip off the shoulder while moving around, so I had to readjust it occasionally. It can also be a bit challenging to get the straps on while trying to hold it in place at the same time—I’d recommend asking for assistance if you have difficulty. Overall, it provides effective relief and works well for managing soreness and recovery. Read more
