The media could not be loaded. I haven’t bought a new swimsuit in ages, but I need one for an upcoming trip. So this Arolina Swim Dress came along at just the right time. I bought a size XL, because a lot of my clothes are size XL even though I’m a size 14...but sometimes that’s a little oversized. Still, I didn’t want anything so tight that it would be uncomfortable. I think I did good. It’s not oversized, but it’s definitely not tight. The only thing I may have to adjust is that I’d like the straps tighter. They ARE adjustable and I’ve made them as tight as they’ll go, but they’re still looser than I’d like. I’m a good sewer so I’ll probably take a little of those up. I got a print because I like how prints do hide bulges and seem a little less...revealing. And this red and blue floral print is going to be sensational in pictures! I’m surprised at how long this suit is. I know it looks long in the pictures, but it’s halfway down to my knees. Again, this is an added bonus. It hides my thighs, and it makes the suit look a lot like a sundress...so I’ll be comfortable wearing this away from the water. This one definitely put a smile on my face. Read more

This swimsuit has a cute, modest look in the stock photos, but the reality didn’t quite match up for me. The breast area is where things felt off, the cups are cut small and lack enough foam padding to offer real support or coverage, which made me feel more exposed than I’d like. It’s not a sizing issue so much as a design one, even when it technically fits, it doesn’t feel secure. The skirted overlay looks beautifully draped in stock photos, but in person, the fabric is super thin and only printed on one side. That means if it flips or shifts, you lose the crisp, polished look, and it clings awkwardly when wet instead of flowing nicely like a cover-up. I really wish they’d double-lined it for weight and structure. The feel is okay, and it’s wearable, but I wouldn’t be comfortable in photos and I definitely found myself adjusting more than I’d prefer. Read more
