I've recently lost a lot of weight but still carry it in my stomach which I have my entire life (apple shape with chicken legs!) despite being very fit and athletic. I am modest and simply don't like being in - nor feel comfortable in - swimsuits. Not even a "tankini" is my friend. So when I saw this swim dress I really was curious and wanted to check it out for myself after the positive reviews from the other ladies. It is even better than expected! I got the all black in the hopes it could double as street clothing and be repurposed as a romper and it absolutely can!!! You could totally wear this out to a festival, an amusement park or even to the club for dancing. There is no way anyone will know that it is swim attire. I am borderline obsessed with this adorable swimsuit dress! After losing 200 pounds, I found myself in a odd place when it came to swimsuits. I was small enough to fit in a cute suit, but saggy skin from weight loss made me very self conscious. This swim dress was the answer! It is made of high quality, thick material, the seams are perfectly sewn, and the cut is incredibly flattering. One of my biggest problem areas that I want to be modest with are my upper thighs, and this suit truly hides them without looking bulky or awkward. It's actually super cute and I got a ton of compliments while wearing it! Size wise the suit is on target... I'm 5'8 and 175 pounds and a size 10. I ordered a large and it fit perfectly. For reference, this is a size XL on a 5’6”, 177-lb frame, and the fit is excellent. This swimsuit is absolutely one of the nicest modest styles I’ve tried. The fabric is thick, stretchy, and very comfortable, with a supportive feel that holds everything in place without being restrictive. The top provides excellent support, especially for a fuller chest, and the straps are adjustable, which makes it easy to get a secure and customized fit. I was really excited to receive it because I absolutely loved the design and overall look. I usually lean toward tankinis since I have a long torso, but the flowy swim dress style and pattern drew me in. The listing mentioned using a detailed size chart, but I wasn’t able to find one available at the time. Because of that, I ordered the size I typically choose when buying swimsuits online. Unfortunately, that didn’t work in my favor this time. This suit runs very true to regular clothing size, and since I’m larger up top, I usually need to size up in swimsuits to comfortably accommodate my chest. Without a size chart to compare, I had to guess and my guess was off. That said, I was very pleased with the construction and overall quality of the swimsuit. The material feels sturdy, well-made, and supportive, and the design is very flattering. Overall, I would definitely be willing to try this suit again and would just make sure to order closer to my true clothing size next time. I have lost some weight and have been in need of a new swimsuit. This one is perfect for what I was looking for: conceal the middle and had swim shorts all in one. The suit is easy to put on and I love that there are shorts built in under the dress. I don’t have to worry about chaffing—plus sized people know the struggle! The straps are easily adjusted and stay in place. The bra cups are removable—those things always come out after the first wash here. The suit has great support and accommodates my small chest while not making it look like I have larger boobs than I do. I struggle trying to find swimsuits, dresses and even bras, my chest is wide but the girls are small. This swimsuit is comfortable and fits well to my body.
