This sweater is stylish and cozy! It is well made and the quality of the fabric seems good. I like the silver buttons. It adds something to the sweater. You also get an extra button to replace any button that is missing. It does feel heavy and it keeps you warm. It washes very easy. I just used cold water on the gentle cycle and hung to dry. The fit is nice, especially for a turtleneck sweater. The turtleneck does not feel tight or itchy around my neck. The only issue I am seeing is that it is piling. O.K., this is one of those sweaters that once you put on, you don't want to take off. It is super cuddly and soft, which is surprising for a sweater that looks like a small cable knit. I was trying it on for photos and when finished, I stayed in it because it really was that comfortable. I have always been a sucker for the classic black and white classic color combo, and this sweater elevates that look with the addition of metal look buttons on the left shoulder. A very classy touch. I wash my clothing before wearing out, so after photos this went into the laundry with my regular wash. I am pleased there was no shrinkage and although sweaters should be laid flat to dry (Who the heck has time and space for that!?), I threw it into the dryer with the rest of the wet laundry. There was no shrinkage, and it came out wrinkle free. I also checked all the seams inside, all the threads were still nice and tight, nothing came loose. After wearing around the house doing normal stuff, I didn't have any issues with snags either. This shirt is really nice. It isn’t flashy or and is kind of a basic style and design, but it really works. I’m not huge on turtleneck shirts because they tend to feel like they are choking me out, but I don’t have that issue with this sweater. It is a turtleneck, but it doesn’t squeeze around the neck. It’s loose and comfortable to wear. I was surprised by that. I expected not to like it for that reason. I also am not very big on anything with stripes. In fact, this is the only garment I have ever gotten that had stripes on it. I also expected not to like it for that reason, but I find I don’t mind the stripes. Overall, I ordered my normal size, and the sweater was true to size. It is also comfortable and flattering. I think the color pattern I chose helps with that some. I can dress it down a bit by pairing it with jeans or dress it up a bit with business slacks. It works well either way. I washed it and it didn’t appear to shrink at all. The material does stretch a bit if hung up and you get hanger marks, so this is an item that needs to be folded and put in a drawer. Not a huge inconvenience, really. This is a nice looking sweater, but the fit was a little odd for my wife. The shoulders were wide, and it just seemed inconsistent through the middle and waist. She really liked the quality and said it was comfortable. The shoulder buttons are a nice accent, but the fit was a challenge.
