This tripod/selfie stick was effective in both ways! As a tripod, the base was very big and it had a lot of support, making it really hard to tip over the tripod. It was quite durable. The remote was also detachable making it so you could take photos from a distance. As a selfie stick, it was also perfect! The remote made it easy to take photos from a idstance and it was very light and easy to carry. The remote it comes with is very small and can fit in your hand, which is perfect for those who don't want to see a "selfie stick remote" in their pictures. Highly recommend! Read more

I’ve received my order and the remote control did not work even though it was connected to Bluetooth. I returned it. I’ve received an email from Rose if I would like to receive a replacement to try and she would help me if I had any problem. I received the tripod , I think one of the main problem was we should make sure the iPhone side buttons do not get stuck when attaching it to tripod otherwise it won’t work (Rose informed me). This tripod is easy to set up and comes in one piece as a selfie stick and a tripod which is a plus, it is not heavy and easy to work , while the the tripod is not heavy as a same time strong enough and not wobbly and doesn’t not move when you are using it. this is an awesome tripod. I took a road trip with my siblings and it works wonders , we didn't had to asked nobody to take our pictures becuase i just had to open the tripod and take it myself. a lot of people asked us where we got it. i bought an extra remote. just in case the other one gets lost. This is my review after 2 years of using this product. This has been a great companion in our recent trip. If not for this tripod, we wouldn't have captured so many wonderful family pictures during our trip. Its sleek, compact, sturdy, easy to use and store. Bluetooth connectivity works great. I have two phones connected. I will have to turn bluetooth off on the phone that I dont want to use. I dropped the remote in water during the trip and picked up within few secs. Was worried it wouldn't work. Dried it for an hour and turned it on. It worked fine. Tripod is stable even during slight winds. Only improvement that could be added is a way to identify the remaining battery percentage or an indicator for low battery. Read more

Pros: I really like the extension of the tripod/selfie stick, and the range of motion of the head is sturdy and does not move when you set the angle. The tripod is very sturdy. It is a little tricky to open, as one does not want to damage the unit, but once you unlock the tripod for the first time, it is easy. The entire unit is about 12.5" long, 1.5" diameter. The remote can be used in situ or removed from the stick and used up to a distance of 33 ft. It works really well. Cons: The unit is heavy for long term carry. One would have to pocket it which is difficult due to its length, or placed in a back pack which is inconvenient. It should have had a carry loop added for over-neck, or wrist carry. Read more

Who uses selfie sticks anymore? We went through 6-7 that broke after a few uses, but this is a heavy duty one that is small enough to fit in my suitcase. We have used the selfie stick and tripod modes. A good deal for the price for any smartphone. Read more
