This is very nice coffee machine and better than i expected. I have hands on experience with one of their other models that has a built in milk frothing container so you dont have to deal with the tube and your own milk. After using this machine i came to the following conclusions: 1) I love the frothing part because it produces great foam quickly (we are cappuccino drinkers) and its easy to keep a container in the fridge and use it with the tube for frothing. You pull the tube out and rinse after use. Its quick. The other machines that have the built in frother, while its nice, you have to periodically (as in every few days) take it apart and clean all the pieces for both sanitation purposes and good foam. I like just rinsing the tube, its easier. 2) It has adjustments for amount of water for the coffee, milk amount, grams of beans to be used, & temperature. Once you set them for each selection (espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white, etc) it remembers it for next time and every time you use it, when the numbers pop up, you can change it then.. 3) whenver you are making a drink, you can push the button while its in process and it stops it. This is nice especially if you pushed the wrong one, or just want to add more foam, you use the milk foam button and start and stop until you get the added amount. 4) Form factor is great... smaller than most fully automatics, yet holds a decent amount of beans and water. (waste pan and bucket are small). A few things i had an issue with: 1) It uses a lot of water by rinsing on start, rinsing the milk spout after milk drinks, & rinsing on turn off. While it uses up water it also displaces a lot of water into the tray which needs to be emptied for us, every few days.. AND it doesnt have a sensor.. so if you dont notice the little red button sticking up, it will start overflowing on the counter. Most machines this price have those sensors.. 2) Instructions were not done well, and in some areas, not easy to figure out, especially when adjusting the percent water flow rate. It does not explain it well. Also, I had to find out on my own how to adjust the milk quantity because its not there. 3) For all coffee drinks, the amount of grams you can select are 7-12. Thats good for a single shot, but there is no setting you can make for a double shot per drink, (you have to add a shot of espresso after you make the selected drink). As an option, you double the water to 60ml for example instead of 30ml.. (not a true double as its coffee for 1 and water for 2. Since i dont want to use that much coffee, i found doubling the water still worked for me. 4) I emailed the company support with a few questions and to date, never heard back. Despite some of the issues, i really love this machine! We just dump the waste every other day, since its quick and easy.. other than that, so far so good. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I had this coffee machine for about three weeks. Everything was working well. The first two days, the coffee did not taste great but after several brewed cups, the machine’s coffee began tasting good. I had always used a percolator, which always brews an exceptional tasting coffee so I knew an automatic coffee machine would never fully replicate the taste of the percolated coffee but the machine did fairly well, and it’s much more convenient than waiting for the percolator to finish. As a daily coffee drinker, the convenience of the machine is extremely helpful when running out the door in the morning for work. However, after three weeks, the machine no longer brews coffee. You can hear the machine grinding the coffee, but only hot water is expelled. I tried multiple settings such as the coffee and espresso settings and nothing worked to brew actual coffee. I did troubleshoot and took the compartment where the grinding of the coffee been as occurs, cleaned it, and still no success resolving the issue. I made a video and sent it to the website provided by Chefrobot but never received a response. Because the 30 day warranty was due to expire, I contacted Amazon who very happily offered me a refund with UPS picking the machine up at my house. So I don’t have an answer into the problem, don’t have a response from Chefrobot, and am without the machine. For these reasons, I rated 1 star. I’m jilted into choosing another automatic coffee machine. I originally wanted a Miele, which is what my parents own, but the cost was exorbitant. My parents have owned theirs for over two decades and never had an issue until last year. However, Miele replaced the part free after two decades! So maybe the exorbitant cost is worth it to ensure reliability. Sincerely…Disappointed. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a value high-end machine. It looks and works great, and is easy to set up and use. Higher End Features: You can adjust the coffee temperature. This is a feature typically found only in high high end options. Milk frother sits separately in container of your choosing; this means you don't have to take the machine apart to clean it. You just put your dish in the dishwasher. Different coarseness settings for beans. Other than that you simply add your water (water tank is removable) choose your beans (this machine also takes ground coffee) and add your milk container; With these elements in place you simply push a button and seconds later you have your cappuccino, latte, or black coffee. The machine is legit, is a great value option on the higher end of the spectrum, and is very easy to use and clean (grinds are in a container that simply pulls out, as does the drip tray). What you see here if what you get. Read more

It didn't come with instructions on how to clean. The manual was cobbled together from another model. During the frothing process a part would come loose and spray milk all over. There was always a lot of water in the coffee grounds so it was a slurry and not pucks. I adjusted the grinder from minimum to maximum but it always appeared to be a fine grind. The water tank had a handle but I tried not to use it because it felt like it could easily break. Overall, the machine just didn't appear to be very well made. Read more
