Cheap but works really well
Got this a a cheap alternative to expensive Italian units ($2000+) to see how well we would like making our own espresso but it performs just as well (based on various friends espresso makers). Won’t need to go more expensive route. Really happy with it. Read more
CasaBrews Espresso Machines Worthless!
Do not purchase a CasaBrews espresso machine. I bought 2 expensive ones from them. Originally, one did not have all parts & it even stated somewhere that if you receive USED one, to let them know. The filter for a double espresso was even stuck to the portafilter. Bought another one and it makes the worst coffee I have ever had in my life. I’ve always had espresso machines & theirs are cheaply made, as well. I know what I’m talking about. I used to be an Accountant for Starbucks and took all their classes (they don’t offer them anymore). Due to their last 2 horrible espresso machines, I am spending too much money daily at Starbucks. This product was returned. The grinder threw coffee grounds all over and no matter how the grind was adjusted & tamped, the pressure never got over 3! Underextracted. I liked the design so well that I ordered another 5700 pro. Hopefully it will perform better. Read more
