Love, love, love these lights. With an option for bright light, more muted light, always on, or motion triggered, I can set each light based on the needs of that particular space. Great in the hallway for late night trips to the bathroom or kitchen without needing to turn on an overhead light and they automatically turn off (unless set to always on) shortly after no further motion is detected. Great little lights. Just the right brightness for a night light, with 2 brightness settings to adjust to your liking. Not sure what people are saying about it being too dim. It's supposed to be. It's a NIGHT light. Just enough light to allow you to see without tripping and breaking your leg, or being blinded by the regular bathroom light when you turn it on at 3am. Motion sensing works as perfect as it can be. It turns on if it detects the right amount of movement, and if the light levels in the room are bright enough it doesn't come on (usually). However, I do wish it had a light "sensitivity" adjustment. In one corner of my house where I placed one, the light is always dark enough for it to come on during any time of the day when there is movement. That's my only complaint. All other areas of the house, it works great. Doesn't come on during daylight hours, and only comes on at night with movement detected. They only stay on for about a minute after movement has ceased, and they don't even get warm. In the bathroom where I have a low hanging towel, it touches the top of the light, and I was always worried about it being a fire hazard with regular light bulbs. With these LED bulbs, they don't even get warm to the touch. It's perfect. I also use one in the laundry room which is between my garage and the house. There are steps going up to my house in the room, and I don't even turn on the main light anymore when I'm coming home from being out. This light just turns on automatically and is enough for me to see without tripping over the steps. Very good design. I am probably going to purchase 4 more for some other areas in my house. I recently installed this night light in the hallway outside my son’s room and I’m really happy with how it’s working. The delivery was quick, the unit was straightforward to plug in, and setup took less than a minute. I appreciate that it has both a motion sensor and a dusk-to-dawn sensor. The light stays off when the room is bright, and when it’s dark it turns on and then when someone walks past it activates the motion sensor. It gives just enough gentle light to see the floor without being so bright that it wakes up the rest of the house. The manufacturer explains that it can detect motion in darkness (about 3-5 meters, 120° range) and auto-turns off after about 60 seconds. I can agree that this is a true fact as I have one plugged in my bathroom and when I pass the bathroom door it switches on. The warm white glow is very comfortable-looking and the adjustable brightness feature is a plus: you can dim it to a level that works for bedrooms or for late night checks. This pack of lights has been so nice for our kids when needing to go to the bathroom at night. You can adjust the brightness, they plug in so you dont have to worry about batteries, and the motion sensor is pretty good. Sometimes they don't turn on immediately, but we still like them a lot. The fit up against the socket nicely and haven't ever fallen out. Read more
UPDATE: When I contacted the company about the issue, they promptly sent me replacements, which was more than expected. Great service and great products. I use them all over my house where just a little light is needed. I also purchased them for family. ====== I bought the 4-pack, and 1 died and no longer works. I hope the other 3 lights will last longer. Otherwise, they work really well as motion detector night lights. Read more
Super happy to have come across these great night lights. All the features work as advertised. The motion sensor works really well so I no longer have a night light eating electricity the whole night. The light easily comes on with any motion. The default setting is pretty bright but easily adjusted down. Read more
