This drive is beautifully packaged and, for those who are complaining, the drive is formatted to 20 TB but has the potential for 22TB (those extra 2 TB loss belongs to the formatted properties of this large drive to store "games". I don't play games on my computer, but find it increasingly necessary to add more hard-drive storage. Online storage, like DropBox and Box, are limited in what they offer and are, in my opinion too high priced. This drive is connected to a Windows 10 Pro computer and I am currently transferring ALL of my Dropbox files to it as well as a 8TB NAS drive that died (I don't think I can save it). Overall, very pleased. Update: I purchased three of these. They are incredibly well-made. Unfortunately, one of my drives died (I think the cat tipped it over when I wasn't home) and all my drives are under warranty. I followed the instructions, contacted the company by e-mail, they emailed me back the same day with a pre-paid USPS self-addressed mailing label. I sent the drive back to them and about a week later I got a new drive. I can't say enough about that kind of customer service. I see other people have said otherwise, but my experience was perfection: a no-questions asked return policy with a new product and paid shipping/handling. It does not get better than this. WANT TO LOSE 14GB OF DATA 2 DAYS AFTER IT ARRIVED? THEN BUY THIS JUNK! I'd write more but I'm to upset. What I said is enough anyways. Worked fine for 2 and a half days but then just took a dump. Got the 22TB USB External Drive model. It's fast! Sequential write speed is slightly faster than Seagate 18TB USB Ext Drv. Packaging is professional. I didn't buy it for game storage but it works fine. However, I knew it wouldn't be 22 TB but 20 TB is quite disappointing. Other than that I like it. Read more

This is as advertised -- a 20TB external hard disk. (Gamers get an additional 2TB, but if you use a PC and not a Playstation or X-Box, its exactly 20TB of useable storage.) There are no frills (it has no "hub" or additional ports, so you can't daisy-chain other devices), but that's no different than many competitors. It works great right out of the box, and at $13.50 per TB, it is the best value out there. Read more

I bought the 22tb External Hard Drive specifically to connect to a Windows 10 Laptop for storage. Pros: Sleek design and light weight Cons: Immediately received the 'Device not recognized...possible malfunction' error from Windows - the Hard drive didn't even show in Disk Partition or Device Management - tried multiple USB ports and even on another Windows Laptop - I even searched the internet looking for updated Drivers - NOTHING worked - I wasn't going to waste time calling Customer Service and get some formulaic troubleshooting steps that don't work - Now-A-Days if an electronic device has the proper drivers it should work on plug-in - I boxed the device up and applied for a refund I can only comment on what happened on a Windows 10 Laptop - The Avolusion instructions only describe Xbox, Cube game consoles so maybe it wasn't designed for Windows 10+ ??? Unfortunately I will pay more $$ for a known devices that work with Windows like Western Digital. Read more

Very satisfied. Transfer speed of this drive much greater than any external & most internal Hard Drives I have ever had. The formatted capacity is 20 TB due to way industry typically lists capacity. Only nit I'd pick is drive is noisy when reading & writing. However, given storage & speed, it is a small price to pay. Too new to rate longevity at this time. Read more
