What is there to like or dislike? It is put simply a hard disk drive, NDS, it is mechanical because our industry is bent on, forcing all of us to use mechanical drives when everything should have been solid-state drives 20 years ago! If you do not think that it is a government and corporate conspiracy to force people to pay upwards of $1000 for a mirror 8 TB of solid-state Drive, you better be waking up soon! We should be seeing solid-state drives beyond 30 TB by now! And it should not be costing more than $30-$50! But here we are! But I digress, this is a decent mechanical 20 TB drive that will give you plenty of space and is supposed to be running 24 seven if you want to use it on a DVR or network system. I purchased 6 of these for a large sized camera footage NVR. Everything works great without issue. One drive was bad out of the box (probably was dropped during shipping or something like that) but I received a replacement within 2 days and everything is working well. Would purchase again! Fantastic value. Very well built and very quiet. Will be buying several of these as 20 terabytes is about the max a lot of the NAS and external hard drive enclosures will support. That may change in the future but I'm not going to go bigger for now. Time to build the server. Read more

I received the product without defect and in perfect condition. I highly recommend asking for the product to be packed in Amazon packaging that is free of charges that's how the product will arrived to you with an extra layer of protection during transportation and you won't receive it DOA. Excellent product, I did tests and it is completely normal as you can see in the attached photos. Very pleased with the speed of reading and writing as you can see. I bought 2 of these. They are working fine so far. The only complaint I have is that they are noisy. The noise is whenever the drives are accessing data. Seems to be noisier than other non solid state drives I've used. Otherwise, they seem to be fine. Read more
