For a drive that is always spinning there's a weird amount of latency in getting the computer to interact with it. I've also had bios get confused during boot-up, and had to unplug this drive entirely. I'm sure if I take the time to fix that it would work smoothly though. Other than that it's been fantastic. Storage capacity is huge. There were no issues getting this thing to format, and show up. I'm very happy with the purchase. Read more

Fueron plug and play en mi nas qnap, excelente inversion por el precio ojala duren varios años ya que no tienen marca real pero si dan 20TB cada uno de los 22TB que deberian ser, igial pasa con los seagate y los WD de los 22 solo hay 20 disponibles. Actualizacion 11 de nero 2024: malos discos no son confiables ya se me daño uno en menos de un mes y perdi toda la info que tenia en el, lo barato sale caro, de la nada dejo de funcionar y ahora solo sale error en el disco despues de reiniciar el nas por una actulaizacion Read more

I bought three *NEW* 22TB hard disks and ALL THREE of them turned up DEAD ON ARRIVAL. In the pursuit of full transparency, I should mention that I had previously bought a 20TB MDD hard disk from eBay which so far is working fine but after this experience I have serious reservations about MDD hard disks. PS: The hard disks produce a beeping noise and do not show up in Device Manager in Windows. Read more
