Nothing but a nightmare

The hard drive does not seem to work very well with the PlayStation five every time I turn off my PlayStation and turn it back on. It says the hard drive was not disconnected properly and needs to be repaired and I lose all my games that I put on it it’s formatted and everything I try to do through troubleshooting. Stopped working

I use this product for nearly a year after which it stopped being recognised by my PS4. Tried troubleshooting as I didn’t want to lose progress on the games I had installed after much troubleshooting didn’t have a choice but the factory reset my PS4 and this is all progress.
