I have a Subaru Forester and it was hard to find a cell phone holder for it. I had one that sat on the dash and the part holding the phone, hung in front of the dash. But between the weight of the phone and the heat, it would pull off of the dash. With this new phone mount, the weight of the phone is pretty much on the holder itself, so you don't have the pull. I keep the phone upright in the holder, where it sits on a little ledge and the side brackets hold it in place. I like how small it is and how wide it can get for your iPhone. It even works well with otterboxs! However, it does tend to move around while I’m using it and find myself constantly readjusting it so I can see my gps. Read more

UPDATED 8-16-22: I was able to get in touch with the seller and they immediately sent a replacement which I have been using for a few weeks now. I noticed that this one seems to have an improved suction cup (see the last 2 pictures with it in my hand), so I hope that will help this one last longer than the first. I updated my review to 5 stars after the responsive customer service and the fact that I received an updated product. (I am assuming this complaint is common and perhaps they have updated after receiving feedback.) This phone mount was a great buy compared to the traditional windshield-mounted devices, but that was before it broke today (exactly 2 months to the date when I received it). As you can see from the pictures, the suction cup works a little too well and the mount came off the cup at the bolts. I haven't been overly aggressive with it and am disappointed it only lasted two months. I hope the seller will replace it with one that won't break; if they do, I will update my review. Read more

Bought this to use to hold my phone for the gps for vacation. The adhesive is very strong and after a year didn’t leave any stickiness on my dash when I removed it. Easily plug ur phone in still.
