Before purchasing this laptop stand I read the reviews on Amazon, a few of which were negative. I disagree with the negative reviews. I am using this stand with a 15” laptop. The laptop fits perfectly on this stand and it is sturdy. It is VERY easy to open and close. In one of the reviews someone mentioned that it did not come with a carry bag...not true, it does come with a zippered carry bag. It also comes with a small shelf that is very useful for placing an external hard drive on. The only drawback with the shelf is that it has an open bottom and I couldn't place my external hard drive on it without the hard drive falling through. However, I remedied that issue by using Velcro straps, which I wrapped around the shelf and inserted the external hard drive inside of the straps to secure it (see pictures). Also, the shelf came with only ONE cotter pin to secure it to the stand. The carry bag that it came with had a tear, which I believe was going to continue to get worse. Because of this I contacted Amazon regarding this issue. Unfortunately, a replacement could not be sent out for just the carry bag, so a replacement for the entire stand was sent out to me. When I received the replacement, I noticed that it came with TWO cotter pins to secure the shelf to the stand. So, if you order this stand and it comes with one cotter pin, be sure to contact Amazon about the additional cotter pin. So I got a pair of these to hold as a top shelf over my turntables. They work and look great. Not heavy but sturdy. Could use some rubber feet to prevent skidding but it's ok. The small rack is height adjustable for something like an external Memory for songs if your a DJ... No the stand can not change height. If you want something to put a LAPTOP on or 2 channel DJ controller on then this will work. I don't advise anything any bigger. Breaks down fast with a carry bag. Read more
Awesome product and seller. I've used mine since 2020 and bought a second one and will probably buy a third soon as I have 2 laptops and several places I use them. I had ordered a different type which was much more adjustable last time only to find that any pressure on the keyboard/trackpad (which I still use even on the stand for some purposes), the stand would start lowering under barely any pressure. This will not move and also allows putting things under it. In my case, I have a small mixing board that fits nicely out of the way underneath it. Very quick shipping too and comes in a nice, thick storage bag. Read more
This is excellent value for the money, really sturdy, easy to bring to gigs, so glad I found this. Would be cool to have a heigh adjustment or possibility of a shorter one, I would buy a second shorter one for other uses. Read more
