BaeBlu Organic LUX Liquid Foundation SAMPLES Frappe Vanilla Cream

I am not a make-up expert, but I want to look like I know what I am doing with minimal product and effort. I am in my mid 50s with mild wrinkling and some discoloration. I also have dry skin so I tend to touch my face and scalp without thinking about it. From the moment I opened the sample - chestnut - I was hooked. It went on so smoothly! Creamy, and even after hours of working with a mask and goggles, still is intact and creamy looking. with no flaking. There is no sunscreen in this product, so I intend to use sunscreen under it in the future. I fully intend to order a full size bottle of this in the future. It didn't clog my pores or enhance my wrinkles like other products sometimes do. I would like to add that this held up through my shift, and washed off clean with regular soap and water. Read more

After having done a considerable amount of research, trying to find a foundation without toxic ingredients I found this in my EWG app and decided to try it. It doesn't get a perfect score by EWG but close and with the use of iron oxides, i'm not sure that's achievable. It achieved a better rating then ilia, and its more affordable, so I figured I'd give it a try. I'd prefer a fuller coverage foundation. Id say the coverage is medium but buildable. It applies well, has a nice scent, not too watery and matches my skin tone. All in all for a good clean product I'm impressed. Read more

I currently use a product I purchased through a consultant (home parties) that contain aloe, but they've changed the formula. I was looking for another liquid foundation made of aloe and was thrilled LUX offered samples! The coverage is great; not too heavy but offers full coverage depending on how much is applied. I like that I can control the coverage by building layers. The first sample I tried was Latte and it smelled so sickening sweet I was almost nauseous. Then I tried Hazelnut and it too was sweet but not as intense as Latte. Lastly I tried Cream and I almost puked. It smelled like paint. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing a full size bottle of Lux foundation due to the smell. So disgusting! Read more

The quality is good, the color unfortunately couldn't quite match my fair skin color. But my main problem was the strong smell which I couldn't get away from since it was on my face. So my hunt continues! Read more

Since my favorite foundation is no longer available, I went on a search to find a new favorite. I was hoping that BaeBlu Organic Foundation would be "the one" after reading all of the good reviews, but after trying one of the nice generous sized samples that I received from BaeBlu I am sad to say that something in the ingredients caused my face to break out. I think it's the shea butter since I had the same reaction after trying Pur Minerals Pressed Mineral Foundation quite a few years ago, but I still wanted to give BaeBlu a try. So, my search for a good-for-your-skin foundation continues. THE POSITIVE AND THE NEGATIVE BaeBlu Organic Foundation is not greasy, goes on nicely, and leaves a nice healthy glow, but it seemed drying to my skin and accentuated my smile lines much more than the other foundations that I have used. It really didn't give me good coverage and I normally use a foundation with sheer to medium coverage. I found that it did not last for the whole day either. When wearing the mask that we are now required to wear when in public settings, I noticed that BaeBlu rubbed off after taking off my mask, whereas the other foundations that I wear stay put and do not wear or rub off. I gave BaeBlu a second chance today by applying moisturizer as well as a primer, but I had the same disappointing results. I posted the pictures of the three samples that I received with the hope of helping some of you who are trying to decide what color to choose. The Vanilla is the lightest of the three colors, the Hazelnut is a little darker, and the Cream I found to be the darkest of the three. They give you enough to be able to use it for a week or so and try out the different shades and see how you like them. The foundation smells heavenly, is good quality. Good ingredients. I was able to find my color match through this sample and it’s a perfect match. The coverage is actually pretty good. Lightweight yet evens out my skin tone and adds a little blur effect. Read more

I liked the feel and the look of the foundation but I couldn't find a color that matched my skin tone. The lighter shades gave my skin a gray tint. The other was too dark. If I had found a match I would definitely buy it. Read more
