I travel 20 to 26 weeks a year. I saw this bag at the Charlotte airport. It is not inexpensive but I really found it well-made and has lots of storage options. The fact you can open it like a backpack or lay on its side and open it all the way around like a suitcase is wonderful. I also appreciate the separate compartment for my laptop and other items. It comes with a shoulder strap but also backpack straps And two grab straps so it is really easy to manoeuvre. The only thing I will warn you is it is pretty big. It is fantastic to fly as it will fit under the seat in front of your roller board in the Overhead space but as for a backpack to wear while you’re exploring Europe for example it might run a little big for that. It is extremely well-made padded and all the right places Fabulously easy to clean fabric and lots of organising easy access pockets. I simply cannot rave about this bag enough. I ordered the Pettitt sera plum and the colour was exactly as shown. This might be one of my best reviews of the year. It’s simply a wonderful product. Read more

I haven’t used this yet but I got it to use as a carry on for an upcoming trip. It meets the smaller airline guidelines for carry allowance. I love all of the pockets and how it fully opens for easy packing and has two ways to access it his inside. I think I will be very pleased with this cute backpack! I also love the green color. This is a bag with good design and functionality as a personal item for air travel. We recently took it to a trip to Australia for 2 weeks. However, during the first day on our way to the airport, the strap clip to the backpack snapped, and happened again every few minutes, so we had to hand hold the bag for a week until we bought a large needle and a sewing kit to tie the strap pieces together. This may be an exception with defect as we have another bag of different color with no such issue. We can tell the bad clips are loose compared to the good ones. We will ask for an exchange or a refund. Read more

Let me start by saying there’s nothing wrong with this bag in terms of quality. The zippers are nice, the fabric feels durable and it feels like it’s built to last. I just don’t love the functionality of this bag. For me there are too many compartments, some of which feel awkward. If you love to have a place for everything and be super organized you might love all of the different compartments. If you’re more throw and go like me I say skip this one. Read more

We now own three of these travel backpacks. That’s how much we like them. I was looking for a way to have a carry on bag that didn’t have to be lugged around on my shoulder. I also wanted to have as much space as a rolling carryon bag. This backpack is exactly that. It packs like a suitcase on one side and you flip it over to pack a laptop or iPad and any other travel essentials. It has a grab handle like a suitcase and straps like a backpack. It also includes a shoulder strap if that’s your preference. Wearing it as a backpack frees up your hands to drag a big checked bag or to easily reach for documents or ID or whatever other items you need to get through security. We use them for cruises. We check the big bag with the porters and walk on with a backpack each. We can easily put a change of clothes, medications, swim suits and toiletry items in it. There’s lots of nice storage pockets for all your electronics too. It’s a very well thought out bag and it’s lightweight and made very well. Highly recommend. Read more

This is the travel backpack that made me stop shopping for travel backpacks. I frequently travel internationally for work and this bag has allowed me to go carry-on only for a 2-week trip to India. I love that it allows access from the top as well as folding out suitcase-style with the wraparound zipper. Thoughtfully placed pockets, plenty of room for phone, passport, and travel docs in the small front pockets. Adjustable stowaway straps and the luggage sleeve are nice touches. The fabric is lightweight and durable and the zippers work so smoothly. Yes, it is technically bigger than personal item size, but I've never had it questioned at the airport and it fits nicely under the seat of all aircraft I've traveled on. Have traveled on British, Lufthansa, IndiGo, American, Delta, and United without issue. Comfortable to wear with the padded straps. It can get heavy if packed full so just be aware of that. My only complaint is the oddly placed zip pocket on the side, which lays inside the main compartment making it difficult to put anything in this pocket if the bag is packed tightly. Read more

While looking for my next travel bag, I had a LOT of must haves on my list. I looked at and shopped around trying to find one that met my wishes - this bag met my demands! Pro's - Small size bag, that meets the criteria for under the seat personal bag for USA airlines (International?) - Perfect for train travel - Can be both a backpack or a suitcase with straps that TUCK AWAY! - slides onto a suitcase either upright or sideways - Many interior and exterior pockets to help keep items organized - Padded/secure laptop storage - Exterior bottle (umbrella) holder - Comfortable padded straps - Fits 2-3 packing cubes Con's - No Interior Key Fob (but you can add your own) - Is a bit square shaped...but that is person opinion Although the price of this bag seemed high - I believe that it was a really sound investment. This bag has many, many bells and whistles - and will be a constant travel companion whether I am traveling light with just this bag, or if I add it along with a larger suitcase. I would highly recommend this bag. Read more
