I've been a motorcyclist for over fifty years and have always worn a balaclava under my helmet. They absorb perspiration and help to keep the inside of the helmet cleaner and the helmet liner holds up longer. On one particularly long and very hot journey, every couple of hours I soaked my balaclava in cool water before putting it and the helmet back on and that went a long way toward keeping me cool and alert. These particular balaclavas are particularly nice. The material is light enough to breathe and is very absorbent. The band that goes around the front can be pulled below the chin, moved to cover your mouth, or pulled up to cover your nose as well. I really love this product (no joke). I have bought many other ski masks before. None are like these. The other ski masks have bad fit, or are not very breathable, or whatever. These are very comfortable, they have very good quality. They could keep you warm, keep you cool, block the sun, whatever. They have many different functions. But my favorite feature is how much different styles you can try. I showed a lot of the styles above, so much styles to choose from. Additionally, they have a good price and even come as a pair!
