Flattering fit! I got this jacket as a midlayer for an upcoming trip to Iceland [over some merino wool/synthetic baselayer thermals and under a water/wind proof outer shell]. I can tell you it's lightweight, and just wearing around the house [68°] over one base layer it doesnt feel too hot but seems like it will insulated well when layered appropriately. I am nearly 5'4" and typically as size 10/12 [L] with a 36DD bust. The suggestion was to get an XL but I wanted a more fitted fit so took a chance in a L. I am very glad I got this size; it is perfect for wearing over one or two baselayers, and still fitted enough to be comfortable beneath my not-too-roomy outer rain shell. The fit is very flattering in my opinion. I love the longer length sleeves [much like I find Prana tops] and while the cuffs feel slightly snug, I think they will wear well for insulating body heat and can be stretched out a bit. Bought this for horseback riding after snagging a similar vest by the same manufacturer, and absolutely love it. Lightweight but cozy - the puffer-style front makes you feel warm but the stretch material of the sleeves and back help with breathability and prevent overheating. The cut is super flattering, especially for curvier figures, but would really fit all body types as it's got such great stretch in the whole back/hips and sleeves. This means the jacket moves with you superbly without feeling restrictive at all -- great for all kinds of sports from fall through spring. I will wear this for hiking, walking, cycling as well. The back is cut a bit longer, which is great for anything done while sitting or leaning (e.g. horseback riding and cycling) as it keeps your back well covered without riding up. Can I give more than five stars???!!!! This jacket is perfect in every way for me. I got it for bike riding in the cooler months - but I wear it for everything!!!!! First - color is spot on - LOVE IT. Second, it's light weight but is so effective at keeping me warm while biking. This easily folds up - if I were Bike packing - this would be my essential item.
