I love Asian stir fries but I'm older now and could barely lift my old carbon steel wok with both hands. I tried stir frying in a skillet, with disappointing results. Thought I'd give this pan a try, and am I glad I did! It heats evenly and is so light I can toss the food with one hand. And my stir fries are amazing. I use it for deep frying, too. It is an excellent multi-purpose pan and so far absolutely no sticking. It doesn't take up a lot of space in the cabinet--just the right size for a small family. I'm in love with stir frying again! I’d been looking for a large enough wok pan with a non stick surface for a while and I recently had bought an 8 inch Ballarini fry pan from a local store that I love so I checked Amazon and saw this pan. This is by far the best pan I have ever used. I accidentally burned some food in the pan and thought I might have ruined it but the charred food wiped right out. I’ve found the heat indicator on the handle to be pretty accurate so my oil is always hot enough for sautéing. I plan to buy more of these pans to replace my others. Read more

Pros: This wok heats so evenly and very hot. It's lightweight and easy to toss food as it's cooking. It's truly nonstick. Fried eggs can be made with zero oil. It's also very easy to clean, no stuck on anything. Cons: The rim is not perfectly circular. Therefore a lid (not included) of same circumference does not fit snugly or evenly. Very odd. The Ballarini pan was the same. I originally thought this was a defect and exchanged it but it seems maybe obtaining a true circle is difficult to manufacture with this material. This is just conjecture on my part. In any case, the imperfection is not a deal breaker for me. Read more

I bought this cooking pot to replace the one I had that I bought at Costco. This was the same material and very similar pan. I had had the old one for about two years and I guess I cooked on too high of a flame because there was damage to the product I can’t describe it. It just was a little bit. It just looked that it had been damaged probably from high heat. I loved my old pan and I now love this new pan. It was a bit more pricey on Amazon, but made a little bit more like it would be more expensive. I haven’t used a lot of nonstick pounds in my life, but I know I like this one, and supposedly if it’s a little scratched, it doesn’t release the bad toxins that the cheaper ones do that’s what the sales person told me at Costco true? who knows.
