First impression is I am very pleased with the hat. Fit nicely. I usually by the Simms Flats hat with the extended bill for fly fishing. This bill is also long and it is a fraction on the price of the Simms hat. Plan to take it out this weekend in 98 degree weather. I will update it needed. Read more

I am an average size woman and this hat is too big for me. I need to actually tuck the tops of my ears into the hat to get the hat to rest properly on my head. Hmmmm…maybe the hat is fine and my ears are just too high! Otherwise, great hat. Read more

Only for folks with 'big head'. Believe the other reviewers who said it is big. I have about half dozen of this style hat from other vendors that have a good fit. This one comes, uncomfortably, right down around the ears. It is good quality, well made, but the fit is limited by the size. There is no way to adjust this to smaller heads. Read more
