Nice shirt! I’m 5’9” and 175 lbs and the large size fit great. Seems to be made of durable material. Very soft on the skin. The hood is made so you need to wear a baseball style hat when you pull it up to protect your head. I bought the mint green color and it looks just like the picture. Nice graphics. I'll be honest I wasn't sure that this shirt was going to fit right cause I'm a big guy. After getting it, it fits amazingly well and is very comfortable and it flows which I like very much. If you don’t care about style (more on this below), these shirts are functionally great. I have 6 of them and wear them all summer to the pool, beach, hiking, fishing, boating, camping, swimming, you name it. I’m 6’5”, 300lbs, and the 4xl fits me comfortably. It’s actually cooler to wear this shirt vs. a T-Shirt thanks to the synthetic material, vented fabric and the sun protection. The shirt won’t offer much warmth on a cool evening though. The hood is comfortable and provides excellent sun protection for my neck, ears and head and even face, if I pull the hood down a bit. For those days when I don’t want to bring a hat but I know I’ll be exposed to the sun, these shirts are a lifesaver. These shirts pack down pretty small and are wrinkle resistant. The shirt makes a good swimming shirt that dries quickly and provides sun protection when wet. It’s a great option for Hawaii to avoid using reef-damaging sunscreen. I’ve worn these while snorkeling for hours, with my only issue being that the back can float up, exposing my lower back to the sun. I have just gotten in the habit of tucking it into my bathing suit in the back as I’m snorkeling and it’s fine. Now for the style issue. If these shirts didn’t have the GIANT Bassdash logo running down one sleeve I would’ve given them 5 stars. It’s an obnoxious, dated style, that limits where I can wear this shirt, especially when you consider EVERYONE thinks the name says something else initially. One sleeve? Giant techno-font? I keep waiting for someone singing Mr. Brightside to ask me how I feel about President G. W. Bush. If they had no logo, or a small one discreetly placed on the left breast or something, I might not wear anything else. Sadly, if you’re going anywhere that style or discretion matters (ex. A church/cathedral, anywhere in Europe, a decent restaurant, etc.) you won’t want to wear this shirt. Every time I wear it I get a comment about what someone THINKS it says (usually BAD A**). Great design for fishing, hiking, or if youre doing work outside on a hot day. The sleeves and the lower back parts are a mesh design that help vent. The hood protects a lot of your face from the sun. The material is elastic and decent durability. I would like more collar to cover my neck. I tried the quarter zip one, but that one doesnt have vents. Read more
