I absolutely love the Bayfree Tinted Moisture Foundation Balm. I got the shade Creamy Fawn, the color match was phenomenal and could compliment so many tones in a medium shade. The coverage is absolutely full coverage.This balm is very liquidy,which was desirable for ease of use and application.This felt like makeup done better,like skincare! This could easily not only be used as a foundation but also as a concealer as well because the coverage is on point! It provides a very good matte finish. The price point on this is amazing because this definitely is high quality makeup.This is fabulous for all day wear as it was fully waterproof and held amazingly through a very humid environment. I purchased this because of an add for a similar product. I was looking for something that had fairly good coverage but more importantly, something that was also moisturizing. Winters are dry and harsh where I live and I apply moisturizer after showering and first thing in the morning before applying makeup. My regular makeup was drying my skin. This balm has very good coverage (almost too good and definitely more than I am looking for). I just was looking for a tint that would help balance my skin tone, but this stuff covers thicker than even my theater makeup for productions! The color is alright. But this stuff dries out my skin far worse than my other makeup. I have tried it with and without the Bayfree primers. This has a cakey look without the primer but has a good look with the primer. But again, it doesn’t have a balm feel at all. It has the consistency of a liquid foundation, and provides no insulation to keep moisture in or protect from the dry elements. I love facial tints, especially in the summertime. Regular foundation can be so heavy on a cool day, hot and humid is torture. Bayfree has an interesting take on facial tints. Their Tinted Moisture Foundation Balm comes in a little pot instead of the trendy tubes, so it feels like applying a facial cream. Glides on smoothly whether using fingertips or a brush. Not much is needed for some gentle correcting coverage. I have pretty fair skin, and looking at the posting I was able to pick the color that ends up being almost an exact match for me. After applying I had a subtly improved self. Feels like nothing at all on the skin, which is perfect for summer. Just a hint of dewy glow, nothing shimmery but healthy looking instead. The minus comes in with the lasting effectiveness. In the picture it is pretty easy to see how even a light layer ends up settling into the wrinkles around the eyes after just a couple of hours. By which time it is no longer able to be blended out or touched up. It is a complete removal and start again or live with it for the rest of the day. So maybe this product isn't best for aging skin or even younger folks with laugh lines. Read more
