I had read up on these in general and wasn’t too hopeful but we needed to try something. They worked so well! She was comfortable in them and they did not leak. Bought these and another style form this brand for my teen for summer camp. I bought a one piece by the same brand that she will wear under these. Figured we would layer for more confidence. They are expensive but will be worth it if they work. I will report back after camp in two weeks to confirm. The swimsuit I bought her was an XS but I purchased the shorts in a S because she is very lean but has some muscle in her butt and legs. She likes the way they fit dry but hasn’t worn them swimming yet. Says they are very comfortable. Material is thick and good quality. Hoping they work as intended and don’t leak at all! As with all swimsuit and period clothing, I intend to wash in a lingerie bag in the machine washer on delicate with a specific swimsuit detergent, and hang to dry in order to maintain its protective qualities. I bought these as an emergency because my daughter, who is 12, started the day before a Waterpark trip. I had my reservations, but I bought these on a chance and thankfully got them the same day. She went ALL day in and out if the water at the park with no problems, no leaks, no concerns! We are both believers now. We have a pool at home and she has been wearing them daily with no issues.
