I bought this swim skirt to use as a skort, for my all-day summer hiking adventures, and I'm so pleased with it, I have ordered it in 6 or 7 other colors and prints. It has nice (attached) boy-leg shorts underneath, so you have great coverage, and it's so cute you can confidently go into town at the end the day for a quick bite somewhere without looking like you've spent the day cleaning your garage. It launders easily; I have an agitatorless washer, so I only use a mesh bag for my really delicate items; this skort goes right into the machine, cool water, short cycle. I throw it over my drying rack, and it's ready to wear again in a few hours (remember, it's actually a swim skort). It seems to be pretty decent quality, and it's really cute.
