I bought this for my 11 year old daughter to use when she was on her period. Since she is on swim team, she was apprehensive about tampons so I thought this would work. When we first bought it it worked well. The fit is great and there wasnt leakage. She likes the overall fit and the sylish appearance. She has been using it for about 8 months and its starting to lose its leak protection. Its possible she just happened to be in the swim suit for a longer time (6 hours) than normal due to a longer swim meet. After hour 4.5 it started leaking. The product works for a limited time. The fit is great, style is age appropriate, and the product prevents menstrual leaks, but it seems to have a shelf life. We purchased this product in the fall and it worked great. Its now spring and my daughter attempted to use the product while we were on spring break.
