This car mount is great since it doesn’t block your AC vents and can contour to the bend of your dashboard. What it also does well is it brings your phone closer to you so that I don’t have to reach far for my phone. In terms of design, the neck part of the mount is bendable and you can bend it almost 90 degrees in either direction. The mounting bolt is only on one side which means the articulation for the phone mount can’t go further than 180 degrees. This is fine if you bring the phone closer to you on the dashboard, but if you put it further, then your phone is forced to look up to the sky. To ensure the gel adhered to my dashboard, I made sure to put something heavy on it (box of costco trash bags) for an hour and so far it's held up pretty strong! I like that it charges my phone very fast and holds my heavy iPhone 15 Pro Max with the magnetic base with ease! We will see how well this mount withstands hot temperatures. But for now it is holding up very well! I am very happy with the purchase! Read more

First of all, I will be keeping and using this car charger/holder regardless of issues I point out in this review. It’s a Qi2 charger and does Fast Charge my iPhone 16Pro very quickly. It does come with its own PD compatible 12v car plug, which many others leave out. That alone makes this worth $20 more than many others. It does mount well in my Toyota Camry, and the magnet strength seems sufficient to withstand most bumps in the road. What I don’t like is that a well established company, like Belkin, can supply such a terrible instruction manual with warnings that would make this device unusable in a car if you paid heed to them. The manual tells you this should be used indoors and it should only be used at room temperature. You are also told to avoid using it near sources of HEAT or humidity! And yet every photo of the device shows it right in front of a car vent that would blast it with heat in cold weather. And since when is the inside of your car “room temperature?” Temperatures in the Midwest range from -10° F to 100° F and room temperature is about 72°F. I guess I can only use this a few days a year, and I can never leave it my car because it will get cold or hot and that’s also not allowed. The instructions are also one sentence for each step and tell you next to nothing. The arm for the mount comes curved upward, which is the opposite direction you want to dash mount this. It looks like maybe you have to take it apart to flip the arm over…but no. You are supposed to just bend it!! How far is too far? Will it break? It’s really stiff and doesn’t bend easily, is that normal? Don’t expect to find answers to any of these question in the Belkin instructions. My last complaint is almost silly, but again, this isn’t a company that started last week. They wrapped the edge of the charging portion with adhesive paper. It’s like trying to peel a price tag off a glass bottle. It rips all over the place and leaves adhesive behind. What crummy packaging compared to most, and it doesn’t hold a candle to Apple. All that aside, the thing that really counts is the quality and functionality. This seems VERY well made and sturdy. With a few instructions, I would definitely recommend this to a friend. EDIT: Just a minor update. I had originally plugged the supplied cable into an existing 12v adapter that powered my radar detector but had a 2nd USB port on it. When placing my phone on the charger, the phone would initially indicate it was charging but then stop a few seconds later. The issue appears to be that the old adapter just wasn't up to the power demands of a Qi2 charger ... fortunately I had an under-the-dash 12v socket I could use for the included 12v adapter. That worked fine. I've had multiple brackets for holding my phone in my car, but none as secure and convenient as this. It clips easily to my air vent and stays stubbornly in place. It also grips my phone (Samsung S24 in Mag-Safe case) firmly and charges it at a reasonable rate. It's so convenient to just slap the phone on it when I get in the car, and it holds my phone securely while I operate it. Installation took less than a minute, and it doesn't significantly block airflow from the vent. So many of this type of charger are specific to iPhones, so it's nice to find one from a solid name brand that works with non-Apple devices. HIghly recommended! Read more

This Belkin wireless car charger works exactly the way a car mount should. The magnetic hold is strong, keeping my phone secure even on bumpy roads. It delivers reliable Qi2/MagSafe-compatible fast charging, and the included 1m USB-C cable is a nice bonus. The vent mount grips firmly and stays in place, and the overall design is compact enough not to block airflow or crowd the dashboard. It works well with iPhone models and other Qi2-compatible phones like Galaxy and Pixel. Overall, a dependable, easy to use, well-designed car charger that makes hands-free navigation and charging effortless. Read more

This car charger/phone mount didn’t work for me at all. I gave it 2 stars mainly because the suction cup itself was solid and stayed securely mounted. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. I’m using a Samsung S24 Ultra, and even without a case, the phone would attach to the magnet but slide right off with almost no resistance. Because it wouldn’t even hold my phone securely in my hand, I didn’t bother installing it in the car or testing the charging speed. I couldn’t trust it to keep my phone in place while driving. Overall, the mounting base was good, but the magnetic hold wasn’t strong enough for my phone, which makes it unusable for my needs. It would have fit great and been a great value if it would have worked better. Would have made using my gps for travelability even better. Read more
