I'm 5'1 with a petite frame and 32a bust, the dress length came a little below my knee by maybe a half inch to an inch, no biggie. I can always get this tailored if need to though I kind of like the length. Nice soft fabric and fits nice. There is a little stretch in the dress and hugs the figure a bit. Though the dress bunched up a little around my mid section, maybe this is due to the length? Overall, 100% satisfied. I found a dress like this on a different website with a vast price difference. Nice quality and excellent price point. Great for brunch, cocktail or even for office wear. This dress can easily be dressed up or down by accessories and shoes. I bought this dress for a retro holiday party. It's a nice dress and I am pleased with how it fits. I bought a medium size and it fits really well. I am 5'-6" and 120 lbs. I thought the small would be more tight and I wanted a looser fit. I am very happy with the dress. What I didn't like was how it was shipped. It came in a plastic zip-lock bag with a shipping label attached. No box or wrapping/padding of any sort. It could have so easily been damaged in transit the way it came. This dress is fabulous! The vintage style is so classy. I bought this dress with hopes that it would work for maternity photos, and it exceeded my expectations! I love it so much. The material is thick and stretchy, so it hugs all the right places without revealing too much. I am around 26 weeks pregnant in the photos, and it was just what I wanted. I typically wear size small or medium dresses, and a medium in this dress was perfect for pregnancy, but I think I will be able to wear it after pregnancy as well. My only negatives with this dress is that the material tends to wrinkle and got visually dirty. To be fair it was probably my fault... I wore this dress in Mexico and I think I got either sunscreen or dust on it. Whatever it was showed up as light-colored smudges all over the black material and could not be wiped off. I loved the retro look, and the dress is cute...until I moved, and the fabric rode up over my stomach and around my waist and the dress became slightly above knee length. I really don't need anything else to make my stomach look rounder after squeezing into spanx body wear! I would have returned it, but my busy schedule missed the return window, so I'll donate it to our local thrift store. The fabric is a nice weight and won't attract pet hair too much (a biggie for me!) and has a bit more stretch than needed. I could have ordered a size down for a more body con fit. I wear a size 14-16/XL in most things and don't like a super tight fit. This would have worked for me if it didn't ride up so weirdly. Read more

I am 5'9" 36DD and purchased an XL. This dress is adorable. I do not like my clothes fitting too tight where you have to wear spanx. I can wear this dress without having to wear any no-show undergarments! I probably could have ordered a Large but I tend to be large at the top and have no hips or thighs (upside down triangle shape). The top fits perfectly, arm holes are good size not too tight. If I wanted to, I could take in the hips and the dress would be more fitted to my body type. It is hard to button the back collar myself. You may need help to button those tiny 3 buttons at the back. You can wear a cute dark bra if you want, otherwise if you do not want the bra straps to show I would recommend a strapless bra. This came wrapped up in a bag, so it was wrinkly upon arrival. You may have to take a steamer or iron to this before wearing and after washes. The care instructions are "wash dark colors separately" With the mesh I would be weary of putting in the wash machine unless you have a hand wash cycle. I would probably dry this dress on a rack and not hang, otherwise you could stretch out the mesh shoulders. Read more
