Belle Poque Womens Vintage Stretch High Waist A-Line Flared Midi Skirts with Pockets Belts

This skirt exceeded my expectations in so many ways. First of all, the color is a very vibrant brown. That may sound like a bit of a contradiction, but I've fallen in love with the color brown in recent months, and this is a good shade. The buttons are also surprisingly well sewn-on, unlike most Amazon products, but if one falls off it won't be a problem to just stitch it right back. The belt is high-quality and goes perfectly with the skirt. It's a true circle skirt, so it's super flowy. It fits perfectly around the waist, snug but not over-tight, so putting things in the pockets doesn't weigh it down. On the subject of pockets, even with stuff in them, they're still invisible. Love that for them. My only dislike is the material; it's very synthetic and a little thinner than I expected. That being said, it's not sheer, and the lightness of it is beneficial if you have really hot summers (which I do). Overall 9.8/10. I'm thinking about going back and buying other colors of it. This shirt is a great value. It is well made. Fabrics are silky, nicely lined, a very flattering fit and so pretty. Mu only negative comment would be it can come out of the dryer with just a little bit of wrinkles. Just remove skirt from dryer immediately upon completion of the cycle. Read more

Great skirt, fit well, flattering fit, & true to color. It was breathable & comfortable, but a bit thin. A couple of issues: - thin material wrinkles easily, but this was alleviated with the use of a slip so it didn't look so drape-y - the zipper broke! well, it was stuck & i could not get it to zip up/down at all. I would probably not pay almost $40 for this, as the quality was closer to SHEIN than something I would get from another retailer for the same price. Read more

Love the feel and the color of this skirt. This will be good for the summer. It looks great on my 5’3” 186 lb body. The A line is perfect for us big girls. Xl fits beautifully for me. The fabric is soft and silky. It has a side zipper but I can get it on without unzipping it. Read more

I love the fit and that it has pockets. It does have a zipper on the side but is also elastic so I didnt need to use the zipper. The zipper feels like it will break very quickly if you do use it. Now the material is very thin. Might be good for a summer piece if you do plan to buy it. The material was very wrinkly coming out the package and do to the type it is and my experience with those type of clothing the care and maintenance will be to much for me. I do not have the time to steam or iron this piece everything I want to use it. The material is also basically a pure plastic. It sounds like grocery bags swishing together. For $33 the material should not be like this. Its unlikely to stand up to everyday wear an tear for me even a day as is. I will be returning it because of that. I would love this style with a fabric that would be worth the price. I'm 5'3" 175lbs and got a Large and it does fit quite well. Read more
