These USB hubs are well designed and work well so far. I find that increasingly laptop and other computer types are coming with increasing limited number of USB ports ( expecting BT device use?) I like the vertical USB mounts resulting in less horizontal clutter. The switches and led indicators are also a nice feature to tell at a glance which ports are on. Thought LED's didn't work at first until discovering the little button switch that turns them on and off. Work great so far. Have been using for a couple months now. Read more

So far this hub works great with a usb 3.0 extension, only issue is that some usb drives don’t have enough power to function with it this could be due to the extension cord. Otherwise great compatibility and great value for money. All the ports are functional and speed seems average for 3.0. Read more

This is a handy little expansion strip. The 3.3-ft cable reaches from a tower to the desktop easily, and the per-port on/off buttons with green LEDs are genuinely useful for dongles, flash drives, card readers, keyboard/mouse, etc. I saw solid USB 3.0 throughput with a single high-bandwidth device and no hiccups using several low-power peripherals at once. Know the limits: it’s bus-powered and data-only—there’s no extra power input and it’s not a charging station. Don’t expect to fast-charge phones or run multiple bus-powered 2.5" drives simultaneously without drop-outs. The shell is lightweight plastic and the LEDs are on the bright side (you can toggle lighting off, which helps). Value is excellent if you need more USB-A ports and like the convenience of switchable ports. If you want charging or heavy bus power, look for a powered hub instead. Read more
