This rug fills the room, looks just as bright & vibrant as the picture and the color matches the photo. I would say it's a medium - lightweight rug. It is soft, fluffy and full, no bear spots. We have had this rug for over a year now and it was bought for my toddler, we have pets, and it's held up in color and quality. I have no issue with shifting the rug is very grippy.
