- FEVER ALARM AND FACE ICONS: If a temperature is detected above 100.4*F a fever alarm will sound. For easy interpretation after a measurement, a “Happy” or “Frown” face icon is displayed. The LED light around the Start button will also display red, yellow, or green. The fever alarm sound can be muted and turned off.
