Beurer HC35 Compact Hair Dryer 1500-Watt Blow Dryer Ionic Technology Reduces Frizz Lightweight and Portable Travel Hair Dryer

I've been using my new Beurer HC35 hair dryer for about 3 months now and I could not have been happier with my purchase. First, it really stands out by its sleek design. I'm a man in my late 30s, and most hair dryers available out there have the same / boring design (Dyson aside, but I wasn't quite ready to shell out several hundreds $$$ for a hair dryer!!!). The Beurer looks great and feels solid in the hand, without being heavy. It is also very compact, which is great for city living / small bathroom. Will have to see how it stands the test of time but after 3 months of daily use it still looks great. I can't say I'm an expert at drying hair so for me this unit dries my hair very well, without burning sensation and quickly. The noise level is what you'd expect from a "normal" hair dryer, not super noisy but not "silent" either. The on/off and power/temperature buttons feel good, have a good yet soft "click" to them, and you can tell a clear difference between each setting. I didn't need any special accessories (drying short/medium hair mostly, and my kids boy & girl's hair) so this unit offered exactly what I needed. Finally, the price of the unit was maybe slightly higher than other "low cost" options on Amazon, but still very affordable ($50-$60 range) and compared to other hair dryers I've purchased in the past this one definitely feels higher quality, and for the design alone I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a step up from the typical / cheap $25 dryer. The Beurer HC35 hair dryer is compact, yet powerful, and perfect for travel. The ionic design helps to reduce frizz and enhance shine. I have gone through several dryers, and this is by far the best dryer. I’ve purchased Beurer products in the past and I can speak for the quality of the brand, so when I saw they were coming out with a hair dryer I knew that I needed this product. The dryer has 4 temperature settings with a cool blast button. I recommend using the cool blast at the end of your drying to seal in shine. This hairdryer has all of the features I was looking for in a travel Hair Dryer. It has folding handle, dual voltage, lightweight, cool shot, negative ion technology, concentrator nozzle, automatic overheat protection, enough power to dry hair fast (1600 watts), well-constructed. I search Amazon and other sites for a travel hair dryer. I could not find everything I wanted in one hair dryer until I found this one. I bought this blow dryer to use in France. It was perfect! I switched it over to 220, plug it into a EU adapter that I brought with me, then plugged both into the wall. Worked great. It also is lightweight and compact, which is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend! . Follow up and VERY DISSAPOINTED: After 3 months of use the blow dryer sparked and began to smoke. I unplugged it immediately as it appeared to be an electrical fire within the blow dryer as I was using it. I had been blow drying my hair for only about 2 minutes when this happened. Just got this today and used for the first time. As a man in his 30s with wavy hair, I sometimes would like to use a dryer when I’m in a rush or my hair’s a little unruly. This helped me get my hair together more than drying it by towel did yesterday. It seems well-made, and sturdy. It’s compact and folded like I wanted one too. Downsides - only one heat setting. The setting is not super hot, so I wasn’t worried about frying my hair. There is a cool button as well. Overall solid hair dryer for people with minimal needs like myself.
