I have always used either a central vac system or the smaller vacuum brooms. Was seeing WAYYY too much pet hair collecting along the walls and really just got tired of not having enough suction or a larger holding container. I’m so glad I went with this vacuum, it has made a huge difference in the amount hair that comes up and it swivels to fit under some low furniture I have where those dust bunnies hang out. Moves very easily, not super heavy, and the cord length is adequate so that I’m able to do one room at a time without pulling the plug out. It came with an array of tools to help with certain attachments but I haven’t even tried those out yet; for now I’m thrilled to have a powerful push vacuum, sucks up the pet hair like a beast and has different settings to adjust to floor or rug pile height. Very satisfied so far, but I haven’t had it long…..does an incredible job on what I got it for and the rest of the tools have me covered from furniture to ceiling so I’m more than happy! Read more

I freaking LOVE this vacuum. It works so well. We have a bernadoodle dog that stays inside our home. She wasnt supposed to shed very much but she definitely does 🤣 we tried several other machines to try to get the hair up and this vacuum is a Rockstar. And for the price its a no brainer. Its lightweight, easy to maneuver and has great suction. You know when you get a new vacuum and you see whats in it after that first time use and you think "Gross. Was my old vacuum even working?" Vacuum is really nice and picks up very well. The pet remover tool works great as well on my cats tower and other furniture. I am happy with this product. It is not as loud as other vacuums. UPDATE: After fiddling with the floor heightening dial, it seems to be working better and picking up more stuff on the carpet and rugs. For carpet, I put it on level 5, for rugs I put it on 3 and that has helped. I've added another star since some of the problem may have been a user error. Original review: I had an older Bissell vacuum that I loved that recently died. I decided to replace it with this Bissell Clear view since it got such high reviews. The new Bissell is just ok for me. I don't think it works as well as my original one and I hate that it doesn't have the option to turn off the brush like the last one (this is a HUGE annoyance for me). It just doesn't seem to have the same level of suction like the old one. The hose is not very long and you have to lay the vacuum down so that the brush doesn't dig into the carpet when you are using that. The hose does have really good suction as does the pet upholstery attachment, and I also love having the swivel option as it helps to get around things. The canister is pretty easy to empty; I am finding things getting stuck on the filter in the canister, however, and maybe that's why there are suction issues?? This one seems to be more cheaply made and while I appreciate that it's lighter weight, it just doesn't seem to have the same quality as the old one (I don't know that it's going to last the 10+ years like my other one did). I'm going to keep it since I don't want to have to hassle with returning this, and it's in my price range, but I don't think I would really recommend if you are looking for something more heavy duty as this is more for light cleaning. This is like a hidden gem of a vacuum! It’s powerful, lightweight, and easy to use. I just purchased a second one a year after I bought the first one, because my teenager is HARD on vacuums and has beat ours up!! It still runs fine, but she has broken off pieces, etc. She gets the old one. Her dad and I get solo use of new one. LOL I’ve had at least two Dysons in the past and I really do like them, but for the price of this vacuum, I’d recommend it over my Dysons, if you are looking to not spend a small fortune. I have waited a year to write this review to make sure I could give honest feedback of pros/cons: PROS: if you have pets, this one is for you. I have had a lot of different types of vacuums and this one by far picks up the most pet hair. I love that could can see the canister filling up and emptying is a breeze. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver once you get the hang of it. The cord is long (which is a huge plus) and it’s easy to rewind with a push of the button. By far my favorite feature is the upholstery attachment. Just wow does that really work on furniture!! I have a black dog and a white cat and it has no problems picking up hair off furniture. CONS: As with anything there are a few things I would change. First the hose. It is way too short and the extension is as well. It’s easy enough to remedy by buying more extensions but it would be better if the manufacturer updated this feature. I don’t mind the onboard tools but they don’t all stay on tightly in place so I just took them off. Lastly a light would be nice for those darker corners in the house.
