I wanted to wait to write a review until I had tested the Little Green on multiple types of stains on various fabrics/carpets, and it has not disappointed. So far, I've had 100% success cleaning up cat vomit, dog bile, and mud. These stains were cleaned off a wool throw rug, nylon/polyester blend carpet, and polyester upholstery, respectively. I used the provided Bissel Spot & Stain Febreeze solution and didn't find it to have an overwhelming scent. Pros: - It works which is the biggest thing for me! Plus, a couple of these stains, like the cat vomit one on the living room wool rug, had been there for months and nothing I tried would get it out. - The machine is relatively light to carry around and is compact to stow away when finished. - I liked that the electrical cord was very long which made it easy to use in rooms with only a few outlets. - Any animal lover will know that no matter how much vacuuming you do, there's always going to be some stray hairs left behind. I'm pleasantly surprised that the Little Green has yet to get clogged while I've been cleaning. I always wash the pieces after each use, but it seems like my Lab's hair could clog anything. But, not Little Green! Cons: - I wish I could remove the hose completely to clean it, but the parts that can be removed to clean are easy to do so. - When you load up the water-solution mixture into its tub and turn it upside down to install it into the machine, it does leak a little bit. Once it's in the machine, it doesn't continue leaking but it did catch me off guard the first time I used it thinking I did something wrong. - I wish the instructions told me how best to use each of the attachments. It tells you how to install them, but I had to search online for more guidance on appropriate usage. Overall, the cons are very small things compared to the pros. Especially if you have animals (or children), I would highly recommend this little guy. I've been telling family and friends about it ever since I got mine! Read more

I honestly didn’t expect a compact cleaner like this to pack such a punch, but the Bissell Mini Carpet Cleaner proved me wrong in the best way. It’s lightweight, easy to grab on the fly, and somehow manages to lift stains that even my full-size cleaner struggles with. From spilled coffee to random mystery spots (from dog treats?) this thing handled everything without leaving the carpet overly wet or streaky. The suction is surprisingly strong, the solution disperses evenly, and cleanup afterward takes less than a minute. Also worked well on our couch! Read more

I bought a Bissell Little green machine over 30 years ago and absolutely loved it. I left it with my ex-wife when we divorced 20 years ago and am sorry I did. It lasted at least 10 years that I am sure of. I knew I would love this one just as much, and it did not disappoint. This works great on just about any kind of spill or mess. I was working a 12 hour night shift from 6pm to 6am so the inside of my truck got neglected big time. I have coffee, food, dirt, and lord knows what else that has stained the seats and carpet over the years. I have cleaned the center seat cushion only, as you can see in the pictures. I forgot to take a picture before I started so the first picture, is after the first application. Trust me, it was 10 times worse. I wet down the cushion with the mixture of water and stain remover from the applicator nozzle. Then I scrubbed it with a separate scrub brush with stiffer bristles because I was afraid of wearing out the ones on the stain tool applicator. I then went over the cushion with the suction applicator and squeezed the spray trigger as I went. After a few applications the dirt water reservoir was full. See second picture. The third picture is what the cushion looked like after. Huge difference as you can see in the pictures. I repeated the whole process one more time. In the fourth picture, you can see the water is still pretty dirty. The fifth and last picture you can barely see the stains any more. I will be repeating the process one more time and I'm sure it will look like it was new again. The suction is powerful and recovers most of the water and dirt. The machine stops sucking when the dirty water reservoir is full so you know when it is time to empty it. The spay nozzle puts out just the right amount of liquid for the suction to pick up. If your going too slow and notice the liquid running down the fabric, just release the trigger. The clean reservoir has a water fill mark and spot remover fill mark for easy measuring. The dirty water reservoir has a max fill mark just in case the suction does not automatically turn off. Cleanup is super easy with the HydroRinse tool. I just wish they had a spot to store it on the machine. I see it getting lost if I am not careful. I can see this lasting many years if I take care of it. This was a great value for the money. I don't think I paid half as much for the one I had over 30 years ago but that is inflation for you. Hmm, I wonder if it is still working. Read more

I bought this portable carpet and upholstery cleaning machine after trying to potty train my puppy. I love this machine for its size and functionality. It’s small and easy to carry and store. Plus, it gets the job done. I will say the suction isn’t as strong as I would like it to be. However, it was worth the money. My Puppy had an accident on my rug. I dabbed it with a paper towel. Used enzyme spray and then used this cleaner with a bissell pet owner solution. Within twenty minutes the stain was removed and the rug was dry. I was thrilled with the cleanliness of the rug. This will definitely become a lifesaver with any accidents on thicker carpets. Plus, the attachments are easy to clean. Read more

I used it for pet clean up on a rug and old upholstery fabric. Little Green did a great job, is easy to use and lightweight. Stubborn or older stains required a second cleaning but the suction and scrubbing functions are impressive. You get a lot of cleaning mileage with the cleaning solution. Unfortunately the cleaning head does not come apart for cleaning and I wasn’t able to completely flush out a bit of dirt. Hopefully it will dislodge with the next use. Also it’s easy to spray too much solution at first, but I got the hang of how much to use with practice. Read more
