I loved the container that holds all the tools and the cord in it so well, and snaps closed. What a great idea! I pull the whole thing out of the cabinet and all the tools are there -- don't need to go hunting in the spoon drawer. Also it works well. I had a little trouble at first with the ejecting of the beater parts -- you have to push down on it, but it says in the instructions to press forward -- well that didn't work. Then by accident, I pushed down, and they popped out. That was the only thing I think they should change on the instructions. But it has good power, good parts to beat, whip, and blend bread and batters. The little cases it comes in in a PLUS for me -- keeps it all in one spot, and that is super for neatness and quick use. Oh man, am I glad I gave Black+Decker another chance. This is the perfect hand mixer, low speed is actually low, beaters rest sturdily between mixing ingredients, and beaters go in and out easily! Soooo glad I decided to try this one. I sure wish I had gotten this one 11 months ago instead of the HB one I bought for $10 more that burned out and scared the heck out of me! Read more

I didn’t think a hand mixer could make me giddy but this one did. We finally had to replace our 1990s hand mixer made by Black & Decker. This new one comes with a storage case that goes on the bottom and non-beater attachments (whisk and and mini dough hooks. The case that pops on the bottom and store the beaters and cord is the best thing about it. Everything is together and dust stays off of it. It’s easy to use and works well for batters and mashed potatoes. It even handled mixing cream cheese frosting. Highly recommend when you don’t feel like dragging out the giant, heavy mixer. Read more

I bake once or twice a week usably mixing 1,500 g flower. The good, This has a reasonably slow start. It's not super noisy, It's light weight. The tool holder / cord holder that it snaps onto is OK. After six months it works as good as day one. My last mixer lasted two months then died and I paid twice as much as I did for this B n Der. The Con, The Dough Hooks, this is a joke. Un less you are making 110% hydration bread, ciabatta, this ain't Kneading / mixing bread. The cord is short 36 in. and made of a hard low grade wire. Bang for Buck This is a Five Star Mixer.
