The media could not be loaded. I was a bit skeptical. Even with the good reviews here and other places. I love that you can adjust the recipe to your liking. In my case I used half sugar and half allulose. With a few packets of Whole Earth sweetener mixed in. It is a little loud, but not bad. Not any louder than a vitamix blender. And it seems to be just as powerful as one of those. Unlike traditional ice cream where you churn until it freezes, with this ice cream maker you freeze your recipe first, and then it churns it afterwards with a very powerful motor. So that's why it's a little loud, for about 2 minutes. It comes with three pint containers so that you always have some frozen product on hand. Oh, did I mentioned how powerful it is? It works as intended. Prepare the base and freeze it for at least 24 hours (depending on the coldness of your freezer really), and then place it into the unit and select the desired function. So far I've only tried the ice cream function and it works fine. The machine is LOUD, but thankfully the ice cream cycle doesn't last long, a few minutes only. I close the kitchen door and then come back after it's done. What you can't finish you can pop the lid on and return it to the freezer. I was disappointed there isn't a recipe book included other than three basic recipes in the instruction manual (vanilla ice cream, strawberry sorbet, and milkshake). There is a card with QR code that supposed to lead to recipes but it led to none. Clean up is easy, most parts are dishwasher friendly. Read more
