I picked up this BLACK+DECKER PowerSeries+ cordless stick vacuum on a special for $50, and I honestly wasn’t expecting much — but I was very pleasantly surprised. It works fantastic on tile floors and does a great job on short-pile carpet as well. What really impressed me is that it automatically adjusts the suction power when moving onto higher-pile carpet, so there’s no guessing or manual switching. The battery life is excellent. I can clean my entire 1,800 sq ft house on a single charge, which is more than enough for regular cleaning. It’s also very lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the LED floor lights are helpful for spotting dirt you’d otherwise miss. This vacuum is perfect for quick cleanups but powerful enough for full-house use. For the price I paid, it’s an absolute steal — but even at regular price, I’d still recommend it. Read more

I got this used at half the price. What can I say, it's a lightweight battery powered vacuum but it''s especially nice in that it stands on its own so you don't have to mount it and it does a very creditable job of minor vacuum messes. It has two features that make it very useful. One is that it has LED lights that really help you to see what is and isn't picked up; the other is that it automatically adjust the suction speed for carpets or bare floors. The second is a little bit hit and miss, but overall its useful. I mostly use it for cat litter getting tracked on Saltillo tile floors and its been terrific for that. The lights make the litter almost florescent, so it's easy to see if you miss something and it works better than any other vacuum for the uneven surface. But it does a good job on my area rugs as well. The capacity of the storage cup is pretty small but it's adequate and it's easier to empty and clean than other low cost battery vacuums I've used. Great cordless vacuum, efficient, light weight, easy to use and clean. Love the headlights, and you thought the floors were clean. Battery life is around the 45 minutes, I go 30 minutes in my single wide mobile home and it really does the job. Now I have no pets, but my place is a dust magnet, and I track outside to inside, gets it all. If you love the Dustbuster, you will diffenitly love this guy, oh it breaks down too. Read more

I am SO happy with this purchase. It is so lightweight, charges quickly and has great suction power. I love that the top can be removed and used as a hand-vac. The battery lasts as long as I need it to! It’s easy to empty. I do feel I need to empty it after each use so either my floors are really dirty or the compartment is smallish. Great vacuum, but missing some major functionality. I’ll start with the bad. Only has the vacuum head like an upright, and a short wand. There’s no way to get cobwebs from corners with this. Emptying the bin is messy and inconvenient, and half the time the bin pops right back off, because it doesn’t attach easily. Now for the good- this picks hair up better than my Dyson, and lasts noticeably longer battery wise. The fact that it can stand up on its own is great, and the light shows all the dust. Read more
