  • YOU ARE NOT ALONE: Adso is Aran’s companion who will join him on his journey. During combat, Adso gives helpful tips how to defeat enemies by analysing them and taking notes in his chronicles. He will be crucial on your adventure, as he speaks the ancient forger language.

Why on Earth couldn't they come up with a good name for this game. The name is so generic and forgettable I can see how people would gloss over this game and that's a mistake. Long live AA gaming. I appreciate the Metroid Dread developers taking an ambitious swing at the action-rpg-souls-of war genre. Rough around the edges, but you can tell how much love was put into it. For me the combat and smithing loop got really enjoyable for me once I was able to grasp it and figure out my style of play, I found the progression not being tied to any level up mechanic really refreshing. My main complaint is that navigating each area is pretty difficult as there are paths everywhere but the visual variance is lacking so it can be confusing and as a result the exploration feels more frustrating than intuitive. Maybe wait for a sale but I think it is definitely worth playing. I’d rate it a 7.85/10 Read more

What a great combat soulslike experience. The combat mechanics make this game super unique and it stands out from all the others. You level up by forging your weapons and finding chests. one issue you can get lost easy in this game. Crimson fort took me 3hrs to get out the boss of the fort was a pain and not in a fun way. looks like a PS3 Game. I think its a good game with issues wont win game of the year award. price should be 29 bucks at 59 is a bit much. Read more
