For some reason, I found this to be one of the easiest souls-like games I've ever played, and yet it's addictive and super fun, mostly impart to its fast-paced nature that rewards aggresive playstyles. At times, it feels more like a hack-and-slash, and I loved that. If you're a fan of the souls-like genre, it's worth a playthrough or two. As for the copy itself, it came in perfect physical condition and arrived the day the game released, so I was pleased. Read more

I'll get straight to the point because I don't want to give any details or information away. The game starts off a little bit slow because you're kind of just dropped in there with amnesia. But you slowly regain your memory, but the vast majority of the game. You're just trying to figure out what the feathering infestation is inside the game. Which you have been infected but for some reason your independent. You can technically get infected with the madness and remove it. But when you're in control you can walk around like normal. Sound design is pretty good. It's very atmospheric. The only tracks that have music is when you're fighting a boss and the music is very detailed, goes perfectly and rhythm with the boss style. But for everything else it's mostly atmospheric which is great because it pulls you in. It makes you feel like there's a dark atmosphere, Moody depending on the location, upbeat if you're just exploring and you get the idea. It's basically similar to a sold like game but different. Of course. You have a stamina bar. You can't just spam a attack removesmovrs, you can't heal yourself rapidly because you have to either get out of the way or heal yourself when the enemy's not attacking. Basically you have to focus on doing things correctly because there's an animation, even an animation for switching weapons or spells. Story wise, it's pretty good. You'll get hooked if you're a fan of black myth wukong. A lot of weapon variety, moves and skills. And the typical souls like stuff, weapon break, poise break, magic and you get the idea. It does encourage you to explore. Currently, I've defeated at least four major bosses and random minor bosses and really liking the game so far. I was surprised because I couldn't get started when I purchased the game until I sat down, took it seriously and then hooked me in. Read more

This game is really good. I would consider it a souls like. It is pretty hard. I habe ligit been stuck for hours on a boss but its super rewarding and the game play is top notch. World design is dope. Highly recommend. Read more

It's a great game. It runs really well on the PS5 in Performance mode. Quality mode is of course atrocious but that's on a base PS5. The game has great sound design and the characters/environments are well designed. The game is difficult, but the skill tree and weapons are awesome and the ability to respec for free at anytime makes up for that which is key for experimenting with what playstyle works best. It does souls likes different enough to set itself apart from the rest and is worth a play through for anyone who is a fan of the genre. Read more

A game shouldn’t be expected to do anything “new” or be better than others especially if not a sequel. Wuchang is a pretty solid release & still great for what it is. Plus it does have its own interesting combat system like feathering, madness, skyborn might, & swift draw (quick weapon swap attack). Intricate level areas & bosses are well designed. Overall a game i think most souls enthusiasts can enjoy. Only gripe is each weapon type/class doesn’t seem to be viable against every boss. Read more

Beautiful game, although it is hard. Hopefully the new patch 1.5 will be out soon. There is a learning curve. I decided to stick with it to figure out how to play it better. So far, it's been well worth it. I have learned how to use what I believe is the magic(blue projectiles) to attack from a distance. This helps a lot. Read more
