I love this powder! It works wonderfully and holds all day for me, even as my hair gets longer and heavier. I will say it is tacky to wash out, but a good shampoo will get it out nicely. The only reason I am docking 1 star is the lid sucks. It is unnecessarily difficult to unscrew and screw back on. It also does not seal the bottle, so if you travel with it you will just dump powder into the cap and when you open it there will just be powder everywhere. It really just needs a plastic cap. I originally ordered this for my ex, but we broke up before I could give it to him, so I needed to repurpose it. One of the reviews suggested using it as a dry shampoo, so I decided to try that. I used it as a travel shampoo on a trip I took mid-November. I'm not mad at this product. It's very absorbent, and it gives my hair so much texture, unlike any dry shampoo I've ever used. The bottle is a little finicky, but I've used dry shampoos before, often with less controllable dispersement, so this really wasn't an issue for me. Do take care not to spill this all over the place. My only issue is that the hold is a bit much for my fine hair. I don't find it gives me quite the flexibility I normally have with dry shampoo. Which totally makes sense, considering this isn't a dry shampoo! Just bear this in mind during use. Regarding the scent, I found it pleasant and not terribly overpowering. Once it was on my hair, I could barely smell it at all, which is a huge bonus when you're sensitive to smells the way I am. I realise this is marketed as a men's product--and my husband is welcome to fight me for it--but I found it first! I have thigh-length 2B hair that tends to want to flatten out at the top due to its own weight. This powder, though it feels a little odd and chalky going in, really does add some nice lift and volume without feeling brittle or sticky. It's not a product that provides the strongest hold, but it is more than good enough to last most of the day. It's a little scary when you first shake it out--and I do find that it works better for me when I shake it into my hands, rather than directly onto my hair--because it's white and seems as though it will be visible. It blends in almost immediately, though, and becomes completely invisible in seconds. The scent is light and natural, and I don't find it the least bit unpleasant. It's a small container for the price; *however*, you need very little product to get the job done. It works well enough for me that I do actually plan to reorder when this starts running low.
