Having purchased Chelsea style Blundstones (as well as 500/550, etc...) for decades, there are distinct differences with these heeled versions. The toe box is more narrow, the ankle & elastic comes a little higher & the heel is taller but has a than original heel my last two pairs had terrible issues with their soles deteriorating quickly. This pair has a slightly taller heel and has a slightly more elegant /feminine look. These will be used for riding & veterinary field work. The fit is comfortable, the ankle is snug. I did read one user's review saying she loved the shoes but was now stuck in them permanently because they were so difficult to remove. The elastic will give some overtime and the leather will stretch to fit. These boots always fit comfortably, they don't have the best arch support in other models, but the elevated he'll make these have a more comfortable fit. The printing on the side of my box indicates these were made in 2022, I did not purchase them until 2024. There is no evidence of dry rot or the leather drying out. Or if you scuff marks on the leather but they are minor blemishes. Overall good quality boots arrive safely and good packaging. I am happy with this purchase. Now I will try to take them off my feet, but I agree, this may be a two person job and I live in a single person household!! Read more
I'm a long 8.5 and the US 9, UK 6 fit great. I've also got slightly narrow feet and these fit better than the regular Blundstones. Very hard to get on and off even with my skinny ankles, but super comfy. The heel is not too much that you can't wear these for a concert or a mid-length walk. Might not wear all day for traveling as there isn't a ton of arch and the heel does put slight pressure on ball of foot. But perfect for a night or day out tromping around a downtown or some flea markets. They could definitely handle some off-road excursions in a pinch. Non-slip heels make them tough for dancing but good traction in all sorts of weather. The brown is medium-dark, matte finish--think milk chocolate. Would definitely recommend. Read more
Very nice and comfortable. I definitely recommend going at least 1/2 size up. I wear US size 8.5-9, a size 39 in Birkenstocks, and have wide feet. I ordered size 9.5 in these shoes and they fit perfect with thin socks. It is tight getting in and out of the shoes at the ankle, but I'm hoping that will soften up with wear. I ADORED these boots. Like, I wore them EVERYDAY on the job, which requires about 50% of my time outside walking our huge job site. I went up a half size—usually wear a women’s US 9, but got a 9.5, just in case—after reading all the reviews about doing so. Glad I did, because after adding my SmartFeet orthotics, they fit HEAVENLY. Sure, they took a little getting used to, as all new boots do. Sure, the felt a little snug when I first wore them. But they were my DREAM work boots: comfortable, practical, non-slip, and stylish. I even received dozens of compliments from strangers about how good they look. That is, until I developed a calf cramp from wearing them ALL the time for the first month I owned them. You see, my calves are average-sized, but I haven’t consistently worn heels in ages, and even the simple 1” heel on these beautiful boots worked out my calves to the point that developed a severe calf cramp and I had to sub them out for my regular work boots. Then, a day later, after massaging the calf cramp and icing it, rubbing mentholated cream on it, and even bathing it with bath jets on it, as I was making my girls’ bed that night, I stood on my tiptoes and felt an excruciating POP!! My calf calf pain went from a 5 on the pain scale to an immediate 10! I collapsed on the bed, screaming in agony. My husband stood there for a moment, laughing even, because he thought I’d simply stubbed my toe. Nope. After a doctor’s visit, and a referral for an MRI, I was diagnosed with a minor rupture of my Plantaris Tendon. This tendon wraps up and under the calf muscles, and although mine is not completely torn, I am now wearing a stabilizing boot for the next several weeks, am on light duty at work, and am attending weekly physical therapy. These boots are officially the most expensive shoes I’ve ever owned. And I can’t even wear them now! And it’s too late to return them! Including the price I willingly paid for the boots, I’m now in the hole just shy of $1600, after all the doctors’ bills came through. So much for Christmas shopping! 😩😫 My advice: buy these boots! But ONLY if your calves are strong, and ONLY if you alternate wearing them if you must wear them while working upright and walking a lot, as I do. Read more

Extremely comfortable pair of boots, they make soo many sizes and shapes, I blindly picked up this pair and was pleasantly surprised by the fit and size of the toe box. The leather is quite supple and the footed is soft yet firm. Break in period was very minimal. Using these boots In the winter have kept my feetsies warm and dry. Fit is perfect, I ordered my usual boot size— 9, which is a half size up from my normal size to make room for thicker winter socks. The vintage brown looks just like the photos and is very versatile. They’re also not clunky and awkward like some chunky heeled boots tend to feel. The ankle bit is tad bit difficult to to slip on as some reviews say but not so bad that I would deduct a star. I also really like that they actually fit my ankles and aren’t weird and wide ankle openings. I tried them on with shorts and they are super flattering on the old gams, they also look great with cropped or rolled up jeans. In love! Read more
